  1. Hello All, I went to trade in my Superb for an Octavia Scout today only to find id lost over 50 percent of what I'd paid for my Superb in less than 2 years. Curious are there any upgrades I can give my wagon to boost its clearence, I work In Forestry an I've lost one VW Caddy sump already. Thanks in advance.
  2. Howdy All, So as you can see in the photo my Superb had an argument with a bin lorry an lost last Saturday , the bin company are fixing it, néw mirror and rear door along with a paint job, have decided to get the wheels resprayed aswell so it's not the same as every other superb, any suggestions on colour welcome! Hope ye all had a nice Christmas.
  3. I normally don't, I did in the forestry pic , it took me a month to realise when the lights are on auto the spots on the bottom light up with the direction of the steering wheel I kept thinking id blown a bulb
  4. Hey All, So I joined an kinda went poof again , quick update, 1st year of college done , over 20 000km on the Superb since November , 1 service, timing belt replacement, 4 new tyres , new front discs and pads. The car is amazing , 1200km weekly round trip along with trips away camping an mountain bike duties and not a bother to it . Was all plans to make it into a scout but to be honest there is no need, it is a very impressive machine. We had a bad blast of snow in spring an I barley noticed it when I was driving with 4x4 system. I'm a converted Skoda man now.
  5. I was actually pleasantly surprised at the service prices at my local main dealer so I'll be using them going forward . It's gone in today to have the auto boot lifting arms replaced under warranty an then a service next week, I am very glad I paid the extra money for a main dealer car as the warranty has already saved me nearly a 1000 euro already.
  6. Not fixed ? Yeah thats the plan , well in the summer keep the 17s but winter time gonna be a wanna be scout with black bumpers etc was considering remapping it but it has a Skoda warranty until November so ill wait.
  7. Hello All, Glenn is me own name and i Recently got myself a Superb Combi after serveral years of having Landrovers, Pajeros Vitaras etc, went back to college at the youug age of 30 to TRY and get a degree in Forestry so needed a wagon capable of covering big miles with ease, while also carrying my mountain bike and various camping gear up dirt tracks etc so a 4x4 Superb Combi was the best option , flirted with an Octavia Scout but they are really rare here and getting one as decent as the superb would have cost me an extra 8 000 euros that I didnt have . Already finding lots to look at here looks like a great site . Heres Suzie not long after I got her,
  8. Howdy All, New Owner from Ireland , Glenn is me own name and im currently a full time student studying Forestry and part time Security Guard/Supervisor , got myself a 2013 Superb Combi, Elegance 170bhp 4x4 in November and it is one seriously impressive machine , got it with 135 900 km on it and its going for its 144 000km service next week lol . Im heading to Wales for the Rally GB round of the World Rally Championship and im planning on taking the Superb over on the ferry along with me mountain bike and tent and seeing as much of Wales as I can , Im currently considering getting 16 inch wheels and putting on Nokian Winter tires for this trip as the 1st the current wheel and tyre set up give it no clearance and ive 0 faith in the sidewall as im used to having big 4x4s with big sidewalls, considering plasti dipping the front and rear bumpers aswell just for protection more than anything else because along with Wales im hoping to visit the Normandy Beaches also in the near future so any advice is welcome on those subjects, anyway , this is Suzie on a 500km round trip Friday to take in some Mountains. An hanging out at the Port watching the Containers being loaded .
