  1. I bought a brand new black 16" Skoda Auriga design wheel with Continental tyre for my Citigo Sport on ebay. You will need a new polystyrene insert for the jack and tools. The one you need is small enough to fit inside the wheel. There's a different part number for the jack because the one for cars with repair kits is slight longer but you can just cut the new foam slightly to make it fit. Check 7zap.com for the Skoda part numbers. Pete
  2. @nbJubilee Good point, although replacing the shocks lessened the noise if it is the bumper end stops it could be that the back end bounces around less and so they're quieter now. Do you know which of the parts in the illustration below you had replaced? Number (4) is described as a "Guide Profile" was it that? Peter
  3. @Citigo_123 I've had the same issue since I got our 2014 Citigo Sport exactly one year ago. I mentioned it when it went in for a service at the dealer last week and they found both rear shock absorbers were leaking with the driver side being the worst. They wanted £300 to replacement them. I declined as it's a ridculously easy job, not much more than changing a wheel. I bought a pair of OE Bilstein shocks and fitted them this morning. The noise is 90% gone now. When I took the top mount off I found the rubber was a little mishapen after 71,000 miles so if you're going to do it get 4 pieces of 1S0512335A (one goes inside and one goes outside the body one each side). I think if I'd replaced those it would be 100% fixed. Peter
  4. I read that up to 3000rpm the 59 and 75 bhp engines have the same map, after that the fueling is restricted on the CHYA engine. So unless you rag it, you wouldn't notice a difference. It would be interesting if the dyno plot above showed the "before" power as well. Peter
  5. Check the 3 letter option codes on the sticker in the boot (and the service book), if it's says 1JC you've got sport suspension. Peter
  6. I just ordered a pair from https://www.bilstein-shocks.co.uk/ - £86 delivered, they look a doddle to fit. The description says they're suitable for sport and non-sport suspension (what else is there?). The part number is 19-222073 Peter
  7. Nevermind, I noticed at the weekend my 2013 also has the black headlight surrounds but on a black car it's not as obvious as it is on the red and white ones.
  8. @dave_scotland Find someone with VCDS and have them scan it and clear the error. I have it and it's invaluable, paid for itself many times over. You don't say where is Scotland you are but if it's anywhere in the central belt I could have done if for you gratis. I find it hard to believe a software update could fix a genuine fault that developed after 5 years (unless the update stops checking the sensor ) Peter
  9. The creaking clutch pedal is really beginning to annoy me (it's not clicking, just creaking) so I'd like to replace it. The warranty long since expired so I'm looking at buying one from the dealer and doing it myself. Anyone done this and have any tips? I think I read there is an updated part, if there is, anyone got a note of it? Peter
  10. I've got a 2014 Sport that has decals that were not looked after (car washes, pressure washing and general abuse) after 71,000 miles they have dulled a little on the roof and bonnet (sun) and around the boot release they have bits missing from careless opening. Your 2018 should still be pristine. Peter
  11. Nice job! @Citigosport Did you change the lights to the Monte Carlo ones too? Pete
  12. Completely agree, I've got through 3 of the above blue tungsten bulbs in 10 months, switched to Osram LED's, much brighter and should last the life of the car.
  13. I bought a 2014 Citigo Sport for my twins (21 yo) and my youngest to learn to drive (17). I was surprised that the Sport model was group 1 insurance and worked out at £44pm which I thought was very reasonable considering they had no NCB. It's actually a very enjoyable drive. Kids will appreciate the sporty appearance of the Sport or later Monte Carlo however fundamentally there's very little difference between models. The only difference over the base models is lower suspension, black alloys, stripes, red/black seats and a few comfort options. It's got the base engine though it feels more powerful than the 59bhp rating. Pete
  14. Someones lubricated it to stop it creaking? Common problem (the creaking). Pete
