  1. Car at Skoda today and they've confirmed that I need to replace the following. N82 coolant shut off valve G336 Intake manifold flap position sensor Headlight level sensor (not cheap lol) Nice bill of around 800 pounds. Would anyone know if there are any recommended options available to block off / delete manifold issues for 2014 Octavia VRS petrol rather than replacing? Thanks.
  2. Hi all, Any help at all would be greatly appreciated please? My 2014 VRS petrol EML came on and local mechanic has sent me the above fault code / description. I contacted Skoda to see if they could suggest the part I need based on the information he provided and without them connecting their own computer to the car one of the technicians suggested based on the sensors around manifold etc and description of fault it could be the Swing Angle Sensor I need to replace (code 06K907386D). There is no symptom's at all on the car, she is running completely fine. Many Thanks.
  3. Hi there, I was just wondering if the above work carried out sorted your coolant/temp gauge dancing problems?, Was this work completed at a Skoda dealer I am experiencing very similar problems to what you listed above. Thanks.
  4. Morning All, I would greatly appreciate some help please. Started car this morning and coolant level light came on straight away so I filled it up and travelled to work (approx. 5 miles) and when parking the car I noticed she was slightly steaming from grille and when I opened the bonnet there was a small hissy noise from the back of the engine and there is a leak which must be draining the coolant. Below is a picture and the leak is just below the heat shield Any help on potential problems on what I am dealing with before I rang the mechanic? Many Thanks.
  5. Thanks.. I supply all my parts as dealerships are too dear 50% cheaper on what they where charging me for the 4 coils... new coils are here now and its getting sorted monday morning they thought that it probably is related to the coil/plug issue... and if so there wont be any extra charge.... They where happy yo let me take the car away last week and rebook me in when i got the parts which suggests they had no concerns on the car being driven If there is a knock on effect any idea what those parts maybe so i can be prepared for that convo on monday morning? Thanks again.
  6. Hi guy's, Just looking some help with possible diagnosis of fault.. car serviced last week @ Skoda and they informed me one of my coils beneath spark plugs was loose potential to break so they didn't change plugs and recommended I change all coils / plugs, parts ordered just waiting arrival.. However on the way home tonight 5 days later the car starts to lose power then EPC light came on and she went into limp mode.. Could the above be related? Or any guidance as to what the fault could be b4 I get it checked...? "2014 Oct VRS 2.0 TSI.." Thanks in advance..
