mine ordered in Greece had varioflex but with dark cloth upholstery. In various other posts here in the forum it appears that it is the alcantara that causes the delays as the demand for alcantara from car makers hit the roof over the last 1-2 years

Hello everybody from sunny Greece! I ordered my karoq 1.5 tsi manual (stlyle) February 27th , with build week 15 and it arrived in Greece April 26th and got it last week so about 12 weeks. not bad at all i would say particularly comparing with that goes on in UK. however i assume that every country/dealer have their own quota and it looks like that demand in UK is immense . I have two ex- colleagues from since i was working in midlands that got one for really good price-apparently much better than the price in Greece). However based on first impressions the car is just superb! and so it worths a little extra weigth
  3. I bought a 1.5 tsi manual style in Greece. that is alike SEL in Uk (or similar) but with less equipment. the kit of the car i got includes, clima, amudsen, full led, vario, parking sensors (front-back), camera, full kessy, Electrically adj + heated and foldable door mirrors, Led interior lights , 17 rims, black moulding on wheel arches, chrome pack adn silver roof rails, metallic black colour, spare wheel. that costed 31.5K euros with some discounts . it does not have alcantara or leather sits, and i could add several other things but the i would go out of budget. exactly the same car in Italy would cost me 38K (i am half greek-italian). same car In Uk i see it goes for about 25K pounds-28K euros (there are some small differences in equipment i think). with the same money i could get the uk 'edition' version but taxes here boost prices a lot. For your info I ordered the car end of February and I was told I will get it by middle of May, so not that bad (especially for new car)
  4. to me the more i see it and also from photos shared around it is rather light and bright, which is great for some. I am going fo red at the moment but also looking for grey ones like business grey or quatz grey, but the last one might be too dark for the mediterranean sun!
  5. great to her that! i was afraid that it would be the same as corrida. I will be driving it in the european south mostly with lots of sunshine (I am not based in UK at the moment), needles to say i will be paying for the same specs about 4000 euros more! Proble in italy is that there are not enough cars around to see especially the red ones. I believe the red would bring out a more sporty character!
  6. I ma trying to decide if i would go for velvet red, but to my i am very confused with colours. what i see outside looks like the typical corrida red rather the darker velvet red. did anyone collect any red car already?
