Hey guys, my 2010 Scout gets the P0299 code when it's not at 90 degrees (engine temp). The flashing coil comes on and when I scan it, it says turbo pressure. Theres little to no boost and the car drives almost in a limp mode. i turn the car off, turn it back on, let the temp get to 90 and it runs 100% fine. No issues around town or long journeys. any ideas?

Ok.. so I need to get VRS suspension (not gti?) and what springs are lowered and rated?

Thanks Cryonut! the car won't be going off road. Seems like a hassle to try source the standard 4wd estate springs here in Melbourne but I'll try. I wanted to change the wheels anyway as the original ones are scuffed up so that'll take out the extra 1/2"

I'd be happy with that ride height, just don't think it's going to happen because no one seems to have really done it.. Yours isn't a scout is it?

Ohhhh I thought it sounded too easy just to swap them over with a gti. Any idea where to get these springs? Ideally I just want the car like the VRS height (maybe a little lower with black wheels). The thought of the champagne colour car with black tint, grill, wheels and arches makes me smile.

I wonder if it's just a case of cutting the same colour wires and just soldiering them back together and connect the plugs?

I wonder if the gti seats fit. Would love some leather ones

Any idea how many millimetres difference? I think the scout was raised 40mm? Or maybe I'm wrong?

Really?! That makes it a whole lot easier then. Ill just take it down to a local shop and try see what they can do. What year is your scout?

Hi guys, First of all: Ive searched the forum. Couldn't find an answer and my local suspension shop in Melbourne couldn't help me either. I want to lower my 2010 Scout. What do I actually need to buy? Anyone done it? Coil overs or just springs? Whats the go? A link to what to buy or where to look would be greatly appreciated. And no I don't take it off road or use it for towing so I'm not really worried about the pulling capacity etc. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone. Just about to purchase my first skoda 2010 my11 103tdi Scout. looking forward to talking to you all as I'll be tweaking and changing it as I go. Ive just come from a Mitsubishi Ralliart Colt so it's a big change compared to the Scout but I was really won over by how smoothe and comfortable the ride was. Plus the boot! Could literally fit my colt in the back haha.
