I have just purchased a 2010 Octavia vRS, is there any where that sells a WRC spoiler for one, I can find them for MK1 and MK3 but not MK2....

Had my car recovered and recovery driver was useless. Then went to a garage and they was useless too. I am getting a grinding noise when pulling away. Mainly in 1st and 2nd. Feels almost like im driving over cats eyes. Once car is going it doesnt happen left at about 40 or above. Im also getting my brake warning light come on if I turn right fairly hard with no brakes. It also happens if I stamp on the brakes quite hard too. Also I am smelling what I can only describe as burning clutch every now and then. Im hoping its a sticky caliper causing all of this. But garage recons my calipers arent sticking he only checked one while I was there that I saw. But he couldnt feel the grinding noise. Yet I can and all my passengers can so im not imaging it Anyone else ever had this issue or shed any light on it.

Been a while since I updated this, computer issues etc but Mods I have done lately, RS Vents Full RS Scorpion Exhaust Pipercross Carbon fibre Viper Induction Kit LED Rear Lights replaced virtually all the sensors, Lowered 35mm All round will edit when I can remember what else I have done, Pics but not in order,

I owe you an apology, its not silver.. It did look silver in the 1st pic you sent me.. but that looks like a decent base mate, and fair play on rust treatment, done a decent job of that too. I think some better alloys would suit it, especially once it lowered on its arse.

Well my repair on my rocker cover started leaking, so i had to get the new one sooner than I wanted, Didnt have any orange paint when I was painting it, and didnt fancy driving with the rocker cover leaking oil, so it will have to do like this for now. either way its an improvement over what I had on.. Car passed its MOT today, no advisories. so over the moon about that, MOT tester said he was worried about my car passing the emissions as the exhaust was black an covered on soot, and it was only washed yesterday. but passed straight away. Now just to try and get to the route of the poor MPG, have already ordered a Diagnostic tool so hopefully will get to the bottom of it soon
