The sat nav in our Karoq SEL is really frustrating me. On several occasions it has sent me in the wrong direction, or told me the wrong instruction. For example, it recently told me to leave the motorway, and proceed along a dual carriageway for about a mile, then do a u-turn and rejoin the motorway at the same junction and in the same direction I was going in the first place! Another time it told me to keep right to stay on a dual carriageway (rather than use left lane slip road off up to roundabout) and then it told my to take the third exit of the roundabout I was driving under! We are driving from Manchester to Cornwall this summer, and I think I’ll use the maps on my phone via CarPlay rather than trust the sat nav, as I’d like to get there the same day we set off. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?! Shall I contact the dealer?

We’ve had our new Karoq 3 days and this morning my wife opened the boot via keyless entry, dumped her stuff in there along with the car keys, and closed the boot, immediately locking herself out of the car with the keys inside. She had to bang on the door to wake me up to use my key to open the car. Is is there a way to stop this happening in future as I’ll bet my life she will do it again when she leaves work haha! Or after telling her not to put her keys in the boot I’ll end up doing the same thing myself. Seems like an easy thing to be able to do, surely the manufacturer has thought of this?!

21st Feb, was a cancelled order (that day), came with heated front screen & washer jets, and a smokers pack (cup shaped ash tray that I’ll probably keep coins in!). It happened to be our first choice of colour so we were lucky, as we were being told 16 weeks delivery at the time.

Just discovered I will need a ‘car stick’ at £130 and a SIM card. I think I’ll give that a miss!

Picked up our Karoq SEL on Friday, and still learning how things work. I have set up Skoda connect, but I’m wondering how the app works. I believe the app on my phone can tell me the fuel level and location etc. When I try the app says “Calling Appsmartgate” but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?! The car is parked outside the house locked up.

Well I wanted to get some decent pics while it was looking it’s best! (this was about an hour after I collected it).

Well I’m now jealous and hate you, we couldn’t stretch to the Edition! Would have loved the pan-roof! Enjoy.

Hi, no interior LED’s or Floor light - I believe that is only on the ‘Edition’ spec, but the mirrors do fold when car is locked. I saw one in Quartz Grey in the showroom, looked great too!
