  1. Not sure if some manufacturers have or will integrate the forward facing camera and sat nav into the stop-start activation. Maybe they could ask OFQUAL if they have an algorithm that would work......
  2. Thanks, couldn’t find anything in the manual about it, I’m sure I’ve had it do it to me when slowed down to pull out into traffic as well. Considering all the safety kit and systems fitted to today’s cars, they fit a dangerous feature, just to chase lower co2 figures. Ironic really.
  3. Hi, Does anyone know if it’s normal for the engine to sometimes cut out before you’ve come to a complete halt? My petrol automatic will sometimes cut the engine when slowing down for tall speed humps or rolling up to a car park barrier. (This is with stop-start activated or should I say forgotten to turn it off.....) Thanks
  4. Just fitted a Nextbase Dashcam that was previously in my Yeti into my new SKodiaq. All fitted ok but the fuse locations don’t match up with the manual. Disconnected what I thought was fuse 34 as recommended in the excellent installation guide problem being as soon as I disconnected what should be fuse 34 the airbag warning came up. It’s definitely 3rd along from the left. I’ve ended up using the next along Fuse 35 which flagged up a parking aid/assist warning but works fine for ignition on activation of the dashcam. According to the latest on line manual and car manual the 3rd along should be fuse 34 (Air conditioning, reversing light switch, mirror. I'm Either going mad, blind or both or my Kodiaq’s fuse locations are somehow "bespoke" The only problem I have now is that the airbag warning comes up when I turn on the ignition. What’s the best way of getting it reset? I don’t paying a few quid for a gadget to clear it as it would be useful in the future rather than going to a local VW specialist garage. Many thanks
  5. The 7 seat Kodiaq doesn’t have the bars in the boot with sliding hooks for shopping. They are ideal to secure dog crates to the sides. I mean the bog standard rectangular wire crates, not the special shaped crates. How do people manage to secure dog crates in the boot of a Kodiaq without?
