  1. Where did you get your rear rubber mats from Mike? I'm thinking of getting a rear set, or all 4 plus the tunnel mat (as I have my own trouble & double trouble)
  2. Picked up my Edition 9 days ago & it does charge wirelessly. They just had to disable to signal booster, prior to being able to register the car. I wasn't given any paperwork to sign though.

  4. I bought a tiny flash drive to leave plugged in & play my music from (still able to slide the charging tray drawer shut). However, it's just dawned on me that I may also need to plug my mobile phone in - for Android Auto? Has anybody bought a splitter & can recommend?

  6. Had a video message on Thurs 24th, to say my car had been delivered to the dealership Called in yesterday to sign paperwork & saw it with reg plates on, still half covered in white plastic. Collecting it next week, after it's had the signal booster disconnected & Life Shine treatment (wangled it for free). Ordered 27th Feb. BW15 (brought forward from 18), was built wk 15/16 1.5Tsi DSG Edition, Quartz Grey. Heated screen & nozzles, space saver wheel, double-sided boot mat & smartlink.
  7. Having seen a white one a few weeks back (with a few Kodiaqs in between), I saw a business grey one yesterday. I'm yet to see a quartz grey one on the road (my colour).
  8. Now I'm worried, cos I was of the impression it came as standard on the Edition - along with Lane Assist? It's listed as being included in my spec document anyway, that my dealer printed off for me a few weeks before I ordered in Feb.

  10. On the spec & pricing document that I have, it says £50. But when I just googled it & got a Skoda accessories pdf, it said £70. I'd expect that you could order one through your dealer.

  12. Is yours an Edition? Someone else has been posting saying their Edition is delayed - not cos of the phone box but due to the rear seats. So it dies seem there's a shortage again doesn't it. I emailed my dealer for an update 3 days ago & have had no reply. Was BW15 & all I know is that it's "delayed"
  13. I'll be fuming if my dealer does that to me! I've replied on the Edition thread - but basically, it would be £550 incl. VAT to add the phonebox/wireless charger to an SEL, so who do they think they are just knocking £280 off?!
  14. Just £280?? I'm sure the phonebox/wireless charger is something like £550 to add on to lower spec cars! Updated: In fact I've just checked - my pricing & specification booklet (which was supplied by my dealer b4 ordering in Feb) states it's £458.33 exc. VAT, or RRP £550 inc. VAT.

  16. According to spec paperwork, the SE has a 12v socket in the boot - so that should carry through to the other models.

  19. Build Week 15 - Also a 1.5 tsi Edition. I was told by my dealer on Monday that it's the Phone Box causing the delay - he was in the process of ringing all his affected customers to break the news. Then after getting onto Skoda via Facebook (to see if they could shed any more light), I got a call from a Case Manager yesterday & he confirmed that this was the case & they don't know how long the delay will be.
  20. You're same as me then. I spoke to a Skoda case manager yesterday, who told me my car will be delayed due to the phone box & they have no idea how long for
  21. So my car must be being held back, awaiting the modified version. The Case Manager said it could be a few weeks or possibly more, he had absolutely no idea. Just hope my car doesn't end up slightly forgotten about, like all those cars waiting for rear seats!
  22. Got a call from my Skoda "Case Manager" yesterday, who my details had been passed onto when I had asked how much delay the phone box issue is going to cause me. He confirmed that the signal booster does not meet UK regs & must be "inactive". They still have no timescale on this, so I'm assuming they're redesigning the part or something, as opposed to the fix that they've been applying to cars already delivered? He was also apparently unable to tell me where my car was up to in its build. He said I will be informed when all is sorted, saying this may be through my dealer, by letter or a call from Skoda themselves - he didn't really know. I asked if that feature is being pulled all together, ie. No longer having the wireless charging feature - again, he didn't know. So the phonecall left me no better off really & I'm wondering if my expected May delivery will in fact be a June or even July delivery...
  23. I've now been told by my dealer that my car will be delayed because of this phone box issue. No idea how long this delay will be for, nor where my car us up to in its build. I messaged Skoda thro Facebook today, to ask for more info and they've taken my details so that Customer Care can contact me. Something tells me that's not a good thing...
  24. I'm not 100% sure! First I heard it was an over-heating issue, but then it was to do with the signal booster not complying with UK regs or something. Not been told anything of any substance, other than my car is going to be delayed
