Hello guys just Went on my Carista app through the obd I had some errors a week or so ago and cleared them. Now it seems they are back and I have attached a picture of the screen shot. Anyone have any ideas what the codes mean and what the fault could possibly be? Thank in advanced guys.

Bit of a random one, but what’s the code for the manual box? I was just wondering as when I had my Polo GTI 1.8 manual, I had very similar issues and I know amongst my former fellow GTI owners also had similar issues. I wondered if it was the same box or possibly closely related.

So without sounding like a dope lol. Is this an issue with just the manual or the DSG too? I do notice on my car that if in first it well hesitate really badly and then loose all power until 2nd gear. Wondered if anyone else had this issue or if there is a fix for the DSG too? (I have the 1.5tsi)

That is possible tbh, wouldn’t surprise me. I wouldn’t mind though as then I can change mine lol.

Not sure, but pretty sure the kodiaq does. And looks like the kamiq will have full led rear lights, strange how they have left the karoq out. If they brought out new rear units, I would defiantly purchase them.

Okay thank you, what is the cost like? Good value? Okay I can’t even remember if mine came with ACC, I would of thought that ACC is able to be activated too? I know mine has the auto braking which if I’m right uses the same sensors?

I have recently got the reverse led bulbs but want to find some legal indicator led bulbs? Anywhere in the UK I could buy them from? Just hope maybe one they may bring out new rear light units so I can just swap them out lol. Surprised this hasn’t been done yet.

Sorry I am a bit new to this side of it, but would like to add some extra stuff like you guys have done. Whats the best equipment to use and best apps? Also so does anyone know if something like traffic jam assist could also be activated? Haven’t seen it mentioned but not sure what it requires?

So I have the 1.5 SE L auto but what things can be coded in? I have read that things can be coded in or unlocked? Like light assist and things like that? But I haven’t got the slightest of how to do it and what I would need to do it? Or if anyone could help me? Thank you in advanced

Well it’s made up of loads of files but when I updated mine I only used the UK files instead of Europe. Much smaller file and takes a lot less time. I don’t plan to take the car outside the UK lol.

When I updated mine a few weeks ago, i followed this; • make two folders (one old and one new) • insert the SD into the SD port • copy the SD files across to the old folder (back up) • deleted old file from the SD • download new file into the new folder (use 7-zip to extract) • once downloaded and extracted, drag and drop the file onto your SD card. • once complete, place SD card back into car to double check, and should be all good. Things is to remember to always keep back up files incase all goes wrong. And it could be frustrating if you have an old PC or a slow chip. Luckily I have an i7 laptop so took about 30 mins lol. Hope this helps anyone looking to update the maps.
