My last Octy and the Superb are DSG. That’s exactly how I drive... Eco, lots of coasting and a quick flick of the lever for that extra punch...to get past buses etc.. I love the DSG boxes. A new toy that I love is the adaptive cruise control, perfect for slugging along the M60 in the tea time traffic. Flick it to 30mph and just let the car virtually drive itself. It took a bit of getting used to, trust wise, but now I just let the car get on with it. Once the traffic starts flowing again I just put my foot down again. Perfect ! When in ACC mode the Eco figures stay at the top bars too !

After 2 Octy Elegance’s and a Volvo V40 RDesign, I finally got the car I really wanted... the Superb SEL Executive, DSG 2.0TDI. It’s the 150ps, but I’ve ordered a DTUK CRD3 Tri tuning box to increase power to an advertised 200ps. Had for 2 months now and absolutely loving the comfort & ride. Happy Superb driver.

Slow & steady Ian, but like to open it up occasionally on the motorway. Think I’ll start off with dynamic (2) + 1 & see how it goes. Currently consumption is similar to my previous Octy, but enjoy the bigger fuel tank so less visits to fill up. Looking forward to having that extra power up my sleeve though for when the road conditions permit. Have you found that the standard in car modes have any affect when using the box ?

I’ve just ordered the same Box for my 150ps Superb, but not the pedal box. I was wondering about optimal settings. I see you’ve selected 2 +1 I usually drive in Eco mode, is this a noticeable difference?
