  1. Been a while between updates. Time for a new set of wheels, this time some SSR GTX02 in dark silver. 19x8.5 ET45 with 235/35 Conti CS6
  2. Had car serviced, new front discs and pads and fitted the rear ARB with new drop links. The ARB has made a big improvement to handling, pulls the car around much flatter than before, and feels less boaty. @smokeyshiva the badges are blue inside and chrome like the standard ones. Yet to fit the JB4, intake and turbo inlet. New BBS will go on soon now they have been painted and I’ve sourced some very rare blue caps to go with them. I recently entered the car into the Classic Adelaide Rally which runs every year in the Adelaide Hills here in South Australia. Stunning day out with hundreds of other very cool cars driving hard on some of the best (closed) roads in Australia. The car handled it all so well thanks to the new front CSC6 tyres up front, RARB and brakes.
  3. Sorry I missed your reply, I don't get on her often enough. I've got all new DBA discs and pads to go on with a service very soon. Just a step up from standard. I have a pile of other bits to go on shortly: Colour coded badges Superpro RARB and drop links Reiger front splitter Intake hose and turbo inlet JB4 with Bluetooth 19x8.5 BBS CH009 My last addition was a Maxton rear spoiler
  4. Updated wheels again :) Gone OEM+ with Audi S3 wheels, 19x8 ET49 with fresh Conti CSC6 235/35/19 which are great tyres. Ordered some more bolt on parts which will go on soon but for now I'll enjoy driving it everyday and take pics from time to time
  5. Sorry for the very delayed reply. It came from some Russian seller on eBay, very well priced too!
  6. Couple of new shots I took this afternoon after a quick wash.
  7. Updated wheels again a few weeks ago. BBS are now off and fitted some fresh Conti CS6 to these 19" Audi S3 5-V wheels. Loving the extra grip and larger wheels, just needs a bit more offset to fill the guards out.
  8. Ahoy fellow Aussie! I've been looking for alternatives also seeing as my shifter has been replaced twice already under warranty (peeling chrome surround). Black Forest Industries make some brilliant gear, and they have plenty of different options here. They keep the stock gaiter and are pretty easy to install going by their video. If they won't ship to us then the Australian distributor for BFI is/was Tim at Dub Addiction.
  9. Thanks mate. I'd like some more aggressive fitment so will be swapping wheels soon for another set of forged BBS. I'll change tyres at the same time now I've picked up a set of Continentals CS5. Very keen on a rear sway bar to reduce some understeer so might grab a solid Superpro one soon. Then I'll do discs, pads, lines and fluid to improve the braking. Tune will come after the warranty is up, but I'll keep my eye out for a used JB4 for the time being. Few shots from a winery we stopped at over the weekend (Primo Estate). Very lucky in Adelaide as it's only 15 minutes to the hills and you're surrounded by some of the best roads and wine in Australia!
  10. I've fitted the same strut brace and it was pretty simple to fit on my own. Remove the rubber strip, remove clips, unscrew the strut top bolts, then lift the rain tray up enough to fit the brace into the gap and tighten it all up. Made a noticeable difference with the stock suspension still in - great bang for buck upgrade and easy install.
  11. Wheels off my Mk5 are on after cleaning up the lips and fixing a cracked barrel. 18x8.5 ET40/45 Forged BBS RSII
  12. Finished refurbishing the BBS RSII and fitted them to the vRS. Much lighter and wider than the stock wheels, plus they fill the guards a bit better too.
  13. Looks great Ant. Which LEDs did you go with for the fog lights?
  14. Lowered, cleaned and sitting in a dodgy, dirty car park
