Hope someone can help me decide, we are looking at selling both of our cars Fab vRS and Octavia vRS as we have just had a baby 6 months ago and when the wife returns to work she can work from home, now she doesn't want to sell the red Octavia ( family car) as she is really nice and drives like a dream, the Fab is too small for all the bits we need to carry round with us. the only reason we were getting rid of her was I work in Manchester (50 mile) round trip and it would cost too much in petrol, If i was to convert her to LPG and sell the Fab would anyone recommend LPG?? pros and cons? and who would you recommend to do it? I have noticed Karlbar2k has his converted but can't send him a message for some reason..... Thank you in advance Howard

Morning all, Does anybody know if the crash sensor location for the side airbag on an Octy is in the side pillar or under the seat? I want an idea of where it is before I take all the trim off and find out it's not where I thought it was! Any help would be appreciated, Cheers H

Evening all, I after a few bit's of information about the Inner drive shaft seals on my Fabia vRS.... First off I take it these are an MOT failure? :wonder: Second, are these easy to change? My father in law has done various work on my Fab in the past (Bushes etc) and has said we'll have a go but if it's tricky I'll get it booked in to the garage instead? Cheers for the help.......... Hi All, Having a few problems with the alarm on the Fab, if there is anyone in/around Wigan that could help me out by hooking the car up to VAGCOM I will sort them out with some beers. Thanks in advance, Howard

Checked this morning and the intermittent wipers did not work, opened the bonnet slammed closed and then they worked (But alarm still went off a few mins later?). Am I right in thinking the bonnet switch is naff?? Cheers

Evening all, Having a few problems with the alarm going off at random intervals, I've checked the rear wiper jet to make sure it's not leaking but it seems fine no water leaking etc which can cause problems. I have also noticed that when I lock the car now the lights do not flash sometimes? I've checked the boot and bonnet switch but I'm unable to tell if they are knackerd. Anyone have the same issues or advise. Thanks in advance. Howard
