Equa index - Real World Driving
PeteB99 replied to PeteB99's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
For some reason the air quality index on the Equa site does not have data on the recent skoda superbs but it is there on the London Mayor site based on the Equa data -
Apologies if posted before but just being playing with the Equa Index real world driving It has sub categories for Fuel Economy As some people were saying (and I was quite sceptical! ) seems to not be a lot of difference between the 1.4 (and even 2.0) petrol and the diesels (and not much difference between the two 2.0 diesels) Air Quality (NOx) Superbs do pretty well, but why are diesel estates rated B and hatchbacks C ? CO2 Seem to be a big difference between the official and real world figures for diesels particularly (I have the 190ps diesel estate)

Well that was easy Got the 1500 miles AdBlue warning, popped into a garage with an AdBlue pump and put in 10 litres, took less than 30.seconds. Now showing 8000 miles, cost a grand total of £7.49 Although when I went to pay the cashier was keen for me to move out of the hgv spot because they only had 2 fuel pumps for hgvs operational and I was blocking one of them (I didn't wait for the AdBlue pump sensor to kick in, but the AdBlue dashboard warning said 2 and 1/4 gallons which I ready reckoned was 10 and a bit litres)

Noticed a dramatic improvement in fuel economy on my Superb 190 DSG estate since last weekend - mixed driving on dual carriageways, and A roads, using Economy mode on the motorway (using the coasting feature when I see slow traffic ahead) - cruising at 75-80 , and using sport at roundabouts, junctions, coming onto slip roads, and any stretches of twisty A roads with no traffic in front - averaged around 55 mpg on this tank, a good 7 or 8 mpg better than previous weeks.

Accidentally reset service interval
PeteB99 replied to KickingupDust's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
That sounds about right ? Service interval around 19,000 miles. Are you sure you have reset it ? Don't know but I wouldn't have thought you can reset it yourself through the settings. Would need to use the VCDS diagnostic tool to set it I think it does recalculate itself from time to time, based on the oil quality monitoring? -
VCDS options on Superb III
PeteB99 replied to BurialConstant's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Hi All, New proud owner (and Briskoda member) of a 17 plate Skoda Superb Estate 2.0 TDI 190 PS SE L Executive. I live in Glossop , is there anyone around the Greater Manchester area that would be able to do set some options (thinking of the Audi throttle response, but any other useful ones) - what sort of cost to do this ? Thanks Pete
