Wow i was going to post a new tread as to" is it worth buying a octy 2 vrs "as my octy 1 vrs has just blown its turbo. I've had electrical problems, doors creaking, suspension problems, bottom arm problems since i got it..i had a plan to get people to rate the octy 2 out of 10 and get the average of peoples thoughts before i thought about investing in another one.. So out of 10 what wuold you give it?

My turbo blew on my 02 vrs octavia,anyone have a part number for it? Has it happened to anyone? Anyone hazard a guess at a price?

i thought skoda weren't bringing out a vrs with dsg but then i saw this... Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI VRS DSG (2008) - Used Cars on Carzone.ie - New & Used Cars in Ireland anyone know if its happening?

When i went to drive to work today my indicators started clicking really strangely and i thought a bulb was blown bit checked them all and fuses but nothing wrong then i realised my lights and full lights had stopped working.I had a problem with the lights before and it turned out to be a relay but i dont see how the indicators could be affected as in they work for a second every time i try to use them then they stop,my fog lights still work aswell... anyone hazard a guess whats going on???

Wondering if anyone is heading to rally?Where you staying what you driving etc......

i have the same problems with my drivers door,tried a few things to fix it like replacing lock etc. will have a look at these pins now....

i brought my mk 1 vrs there and the sales man didn't know what it was,thought i had my interior retrimmed! went due to a problem with my front lights which they ran a diagnostic for and found the "stalk" to be faulty,they ordered a new one and said it would take 3 hrs labour to fix so i said id get a 2nd opinion and it turned out to be a relay...dunno bout laharts after this...(i bought stalk off them aswell thinking it was problem)

thinking of a remap ,does it put undue stress on engine components?

i'm doing mine this weekend at 72000 with metal impeller water pump

thinking of colour co-ordinating my car i.e the black bits silver anyone seen this done or have a pic of one done?

i think the rear diffuser is nice the rest is pretty tacky

I stupidly left my lights on over night and needed to get t o work the next morning so had to jump my car afterwards i noticed that the central locking in the drivers door,electric mirror and the little red light on the interior of the door also has stopped working(the one that comes on when the door opens). The rest of the doors central locking still works as does the electric windows on all doors,i've checked the fuses and they are all fine, Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

has anyone had this problem it sounds like its comin from the doors they creak a good bit whilst driving?:(its loud enogh to annoy so i presume someone has experienced it, interested to hear from you......

has anyone seen or have a pic of a silver octavia with the standard wheels painted anthracite/black....thinking of doing it what you think?
