Any idea how many miles before the SERVICE NOW alarm? I mean have I git nearly another 2,000 before that? Assuming it's set as you say.

Hi everyone, I bought my 2010 Roomster with full service history. The booked was stamped with an oil change at 47363 miles ( Skoda dealership ) then the garage that I got it from did an after sales service changing the oil at 49955 which is the mileage on it when I purchased it. I didn't ask them to change the oil they just did it but obviously didn't reset the alarm ( wasn't a Skoda dealer ). Anyway when I turn the key now it says SERVICE with a small spanner icon. Mileage is now 54879. So since the official Skoda oil change its done 7516 miles. What's the service interval for a 1.6 TDI? Thank you

National Tyres & Autocare for oil change?
Ashley64 replied to Ashley64's topic in General Maintenance
I agree, the trouble is I have to do mine on the street. -
What's the best mpg you've got out of your 1.6 diesel guys? I only managed 55 yesterday driving as steadily as I could back from collection.

Has anyone bought a boot liner for their Roomster and if so where from? Thanks

Has anyone used these guys for an oil and filter change? The prices look very reasonable. https://www.national.co.uk/oil-change

Why different tyres on the Scout?

Thanks everyone, Purchased a 2010 Scout 1.6 TDI yesterday which I'm picking up next week. Looking forward to it. -

Thanks for the input! I much prefer the look of the Scout too but only just realised the wheel size differences. I still think I’ll go for it. Guess I’ll have to miss the potholes. As you say it would be nice to have a choice! Thanks a lot. -

Hi, They're 205/45 R16. Lower profile than I'm used to anyway :-) The 'standard' Roomster has 195/55 R15's. -
Hi everyone, I'm about to view and hopefully purchase my first Skoda tomorrow which will be a Roomster Scout 1.6 TDI. Why are the tyres on this model lower profile than the other Roomsters? I've never driven with tyres this size and am slightly worried about pot holes. Should I be concerned? Thank you
