  1. Having a similar nightmare. P0322 input circuit fault. New sensor and overlay wiring done but still sometimes jerking, hesitating when cold. Can't get fault code to return though since overlay wiring fitted. Anyone had excessive crank end float or heard of issue in these?
  2. Doesn't sound good. I would be doing a block test and checking for exhaust gases entering coolant
  3. Water pump seal is a common failure on these I believe there is a TPI available for this for seal being knicked during production
  4. It is possible the TPI says that various fault messages can be displayed when battery is on the way out. Could just be a missing data bus message, slight glitch in system
  5. Agree with possible battery issue. Very common issue at the moment. Is it a Moll battery?
  6. You can check cooler when EGR is removed. It should be dry inside cooler if there is any dampness then it is leaking
  7. Yes left side. Listen around the top plastic belt cover.
  8. I know there is a tpi for cambelt making a noise when on idle. Have a listen under bonnet and see if you can pin point it to this area
  9. Yeh not good possible head gasket issue or maybe a leaking EGR cooler
  10. I'm not sure about oil change but it has done around 80,000 miles
  11. Hi we have an Octavia 2.0ltr TDI with 6 speed DSG box. Vehicle is making a kind of whuring noise when selecting drive or reverse, noise is not present when in neutral. Also when pulling away the vehicle seems to knock into gear. Has anyone had similar issue? Could it be a a clutch pack fault?
  12. Should be like a 12mm socket? Cant remember but a socket will go over the connector
