Live with my wife in Halesworth Suffolk. We moved from Yorkshire in 2010 to care for an elderly relative. Retired (not by choice) Computer network and desktop PC Engineer 10 years at a Technology College in Sheffield and 15 years for a US based computer graphics  specialist based in Marlow (Bucks) and Bristol. Before that (1980's) Electronics bench engineer working in Test & Measurement.. 1970's British Rail Secondman (trainee train driver - Drivers assistant) at Tinsley, Sheffield. Started working life in 1972 apprentice motor mechanic at a Fiat main dealer in Sheffield.

I potter around these days fiddling with computers, doing a bit of DIY, walking the dog and being a house husband. Doing much actual getting hands dirty these days is not easy but back in the day I was a dab hand with tuning and engine builds etc.  M8 and I got a '72 Mustang fresh from the USA. Stripped all the extras like air con and all emissions stuff off. Ditched coil & points, Replaced 2 bar' Holley with a 4 Barrel,  re- jetted and ported head and manifolds. Opened exhaust and stage 2 cam etc.. My idea of having a good time...LOL. Now I have trouble filling the windscreen washers :-(
