I'm having trouble finding a turbo cos it's a blt engine apparently there less common. So is the gt 1749vb a straight swap?

Hi all sorry for taking so long to message back on here. My car is a 2006/7 1.9 BLT engine

I am out at the moment but I will get the engine code when i get home, the car is in the garage the mechanic said the turbo is definitely knackered, the shaft has collapses and the bearings gone, hes a very reliable mechanic I can trust I've used him loads of times before, always goes that extra mile

Hi my sons car has lost all power and I've been told that it's the turbo. can anyone help? Do i by a new turbo or reconditioned one and where from etc where can I take it to be fixed? I live in Essex. Any advice will be very grateful. Thanks

Hi, my throttle body is playing up and putting the engine light on, I've found one on ebay with the same part number as mine but it has an M at the end and mine has an G 038 129 063 G 038 129 063 M does anyone know what this means and will it still fit my fabia VRS? Thanks

It does sound like the noise is coming from that area, if it is the anti shudder valve, what do I need to do?

Sorry for sounding stupid but what's a ASD flat and what is a BLT? What would I need to to to fix it?

Hi all, I've got a 2006 m1 fabia vrs, I came out this mornig to find the battery flat, once I opened the bonnet I could here a slight buzzing noise coming from behind the engine and it sounds like its coming from the egr valve unit. After charging it was fine but it's still making that buzzing noise once the cars turned off, is this draining the battery? Has anyone had the same problem? Just dont know what to do. HELP
