  1. having had the same problem as steven i changed the crank sensor coilpack still had ther problem so i pinched a air temp sensor from a scapyard and hey presto . the wife says the car is going better than before hope this helps. i have a coil pack spare if you want to try that sean
  2. i have disconected the battery and the ecu . the car went fine last night but the wife says its like a kangaroo this morning . i noticed when i left the car idling the revs waiverd sean
  3. all i done was jus sprayed the carb cleacer in to the throttle body sean
  4. help needed the wifes car would start on saturday but would not tick over so i cleaned the throttle body . drove the car everything fine sunday morning car would not tick over , so i changed the crank case sensor because i was given 1 with the car. the car then drove fine this morning the wife tells me the car is over revving and slowley going back to normal any ideas folks the car has a 1.3 mpi engine sean
  5. i am having the same problems so i will disconect the battery overnight to see if i can get the same results sean
  6. i had a new centre box fitted last week i went to the local exhaust /tyre centre they cut the pipe off behind the cat ,fitted the new centre with a special sleave job done 48 quid . you will need about 6 inches behind the cat to get a good join. i will look under the car and let you know how much behind the cat is left.
  7. i have the mont blanc roof rack there easy to fit they just squash the rubber up a bit no problem
  8. i done the air filter the weekend , also adjusted the throttle cable as there was some play ,cleaned the throttle body and it goes a bit better . new center box next week cos it don't sound to good not blowing maybe the insides are breaking down. sean
  9. i will pop a new filter in over the weekend .the stat and sensor has been changed ' so it maybe the tappets next
  10. whoops forgot to mention the wife's felecia goes like a 2 litre but we both have the same engine
  11. i 230 miles from a full tank until the light comes on i have a small vibration from the centre box. 1 other problem the revs are u/s up hills can be a bit of a drag. any ideas sean
  12. rub some vaselene around the rubbers . this will stop them drying out we used to do this in the body shop where i worked
  13. harry hill i had a key cloned at my local locksmith 18 quid bargain sean
  14. i have purchased a spare remote for the central locking /alarm can this be programed in myself or do i have to go to the dealers. its the same type t1o1v2 if that helps cheers sean
