  1. No, headlights are off, just normal daytime front running lights on, rev counter and speedo fade away when in tunnels ( even well lit ones) and even when driving under thick tree cover! With sidelights or headlights on they are fine.

  3. Help please! I have a 14 plate 2 litre turbo diesel. During the summer the dash lights started to fade away completely when driving through tunnels, this has now got worse, especially with the very dull mornings we're having now. It's the lights for the dials - centre display and needles stay bright, when day gets brighter so do lights!! Car does not have auto lights. Has anyone had the same problem, any ideas how to fix??

  5. Hi folks, can anyone recommend pattern sensors, Skoda OEM are stupidly expensive!! Part number is 5Q0919275GRU. Can't find any matching with my own searches so thought I'd ask the experts!! Thanks in adsvance, John
  6. Thank you guys, really appreciate the help!! Will be done in next few days. Cheers!! John
  7. Help please!! I have a 2014 Octavia estate, 2litre turbo diesel, 4x4 , 54k miles. It's started overheating at speed (70/80mph). After a few miles the gauge shoots up & alarm goes off, I've stopped & physically checked - coolant level is fine, engine & rad do not feel or smell hot. Start again & temp falls , speed up & rises again. Perfect around town, never a problem. Have changed temp sensor but still occurring!! Suggestions/advice please.
