  1. Completely agree, don't think I would ever buy a car without at least the recirc button, mostly because of the smoking diesel cars/trucks, they are like a plague in my country, we have one the largest diesel percentages in Europe, thankfully trend is reverting in the last years.
  2. It can't be just software since both LED stripes on the PFL are controlled by a single entry, one for left, one for right side, I remember that from when I changed mine from halogen to LED.
  3. Those springs are for all rigid axel mk3 Octavias, regardless of engine used, including the 1.6tdi which is even heavier than yours, the only other option from Eibach is for IRS versions.
  4. This is the Eibach part number I bought for my 1.2tsi, also rigid axel: Eibach Pro-Kit Performance Spring Kit E10-79-010-03-22
  5. I also miss this a lot, didn't even noticed it was missing when I bought the car, but when I did was hoping I could just replace the glass, even tried looking for another VAG compatible one, like from a Golf or Polo since they sometimes share some parts but couldn't find one, IMHO very stupid thing to save a few cents, don't remember the last car I had without this.
  6. In the above linked article they test a 1.2 tsi with 350.000 km, still going strong, in fact delivering a few more horsepower than anounced as new.
  7. Found the article: https://www.autostyl.eu/files/files/f655-SM45-nahled.1.pdf I don't speak Czech, so used google translator, in the middle of the 2nd page there's a box in the center with known issues, first one is (translated by google):
  8. I remember reading there's can be a turbo actuator problem on 1.2TSI engines, not just Octavia, engines manufactured up to early 2014 need a new complete turbo, engines built after that date just need a new servo motor.
  9. That's for the pre-facelit, so it won't work for you.
  10. I believe some of the ABS modules might not work, can't tell you which ones, it shouldn't have much to do with being a manual transmission, and certainly nothing to do with the handbrake as all Octavias have a manual handbrake.
  11. Yes, but not familiar with British trim levels, they are different from most of Europe.
  12. It's easy to check, stop on an incline, with the car in first gear release the brake, if it rolls backward you don't have HHC.
  13. I have these notes saved: Folgende Codierung ist anzuwenden: STG 03 (Bremse) auswählen STG Codierung -> Funktion 07 Byte 25 Bit 0 aktivieren Bit 1 aktivieren Also links to these videos, not in english but still helped me: After coding HHC you can go to adaptation (ABS module)... Then, you can decide how strong you want it... There are three options: early, normal and late.
