Thank you, unfortunately not the case unit is locked securely into dashboard, it needs to be taken out by a garage or someone that can release the clamps.

Thanks for the advice, it was in place when I bought the car, it is retro fit and I pushed it in on the O and tried to turn it to the right, unit had lost the clicks between the separate light settings and you couldn't turn lights on or off. The only lights on was the small lights by the front fog lights no other lights. I think I will just take it to a garage see if they can help remove it.

Hi, I have snapped the rotary switch on the auto headlight unit. Fabia MK2 the switch jammed and I forced it causing the outer ring to snap off. Is there any easy way to remove the whole unit without the rotary switch, can't push in and turn. Thanks
