  1. Thanks for the replies guys. I’m a Just a little confused as looked in to it further and they show as self seal/run flat for the Scorpion Verde on Pirelli’s website as they are the summer tyres and not the all season versions. It’d be a lot easier if they had a spec sheet or better defined detail on the website. Was just hoping someone would have a definite answer or a link to the tyres spec sheet etc but everyone’s comments conflict slightly. Thanks for everyone’s advice. I’ll email Pirelli and see if they’ve got a detailed spec sheet and I’ll share it here.
  2. Hi I’ve got the Pirelli scorpion verde (summer) tyres on my bear but would like to ask if anyone knows if they are run flats and if they have the seal inside technology which auto seals punctures?
  3. I would say are the extras on the SEL worth it to you? Would you like the electric opening boot, alcantara heated front seats, Wi-fi hotspot onboard, full LED lights and the KESSY full system to name a small selection of the extras above the SE. We weren’t too bothered until the show room SE we saw had Alcantara seats as an upgrade which my better half loved over the cloth seats and other options like Columbus upgrade etc... then when we test drove another SE they had in which was stock, with cloth seats etc which was a nice drive but didn’t feel quite as special inside as the showroom model with its SEL standard upgrades. So we went for the SEL which we haven’t regretted as it comes with tons of styling extras as well as all the practical options.
  4. I have the same covers but they’re coming loose really quickly as often turn on and off the manual child locks (I know about the family pack but ordered from stock one of the last 1.4TSI’s). My question would be does anyone have any solid clip on covers for this type of key with access to the key part? And if so a link too please. Or any other suggestions. Thanks
  5. It all depends on your taste of car type as Škoda’s are good value in general but it’s team Kodiaq all the way here!!!
  6. Hi I am a postmaster, do car tax in my post office and have done for 10 years. Did the garage give you the V5C/2 (green slip from V5) or the full V5 upon purchasing the vehicle? If so I’d go online or go to a Post Office that does car tax if one is local and tax the vehicle as a new keeper. If you only have the V5C/2 they will tax it as a new keeper for you and if the garage has sent off the V5 you’ll receive a new one with your details in a few weeks. If they haven’t you can fill in a V62 and send it off with the V5C/2 to get one in your details. If you have the full V5 with the previous owners details the post office will send it off for you when you tax it. However if you’ve had no V5 or V5C/2 from the garage get a V62 form, fill it in as best you can but make sure you put the VIN number on it and the Post Office can again tax it for you as a new keeper but there would be a charge of £25 for a new V5 due to it being ‘lost’. As stated by others here tax no longer carries across on the purchase of a vehicle and must be purchased before using the vehicle on the roads in the U.K. Hope this helps
  7. Ours had the 360 cameras too but it took reversing into a parked van and then (4 weeks after fixing the bumper) a low post in a car park for her to start using them lol
  8. Seen it on ebay. A company will come to you UK wide to fit it. I’m thinking of it as the Mrs reversed the Qashqai into a few different things previously!!
  9. Anyone?? I’d love to know this too as had a stock car too!
  10. I’ve used the 3 sim but only the 3Gb one to see how much we used it. We use it all the time (Wi-fi hotspot - 4 kids on YouTube/games and Mrs on FB) so signed up with my mobile provider EE for a data only SIM of 5Gb for £10 per month, I can also transfer our family data to it if running low, for example when updating maps this month.
  11. ak1956 there should be a flimsy ‘quick start guide’ and a full manual with the car in the Škoda folder. Did you receive this with the car? If not get the dealer to supply you one.
  12. It worked for me but when I left it for a bit then tried again it showed the error. Try leaving your bear for an hour and without unlocking it, try the app again clicking the refresh button. Mine works now as just been in the car but it won’t work in about 15 mins when I’ve not used it.
  13. Yes my connect started having issues yesterday and did receive the email till I’d reset everything and it still wasn’t working. Just got to wait till the end of the week now and see what the updates do.
  14. Typically been faffing about trying to get it to work then received this email from ŠKODA!!
