  1. Thanks, but I don't have a folding key. I've got one that looks a bit like this: There's a little catch on the other side, and it looks like it separates round the line you can see, but I can't get it to come apart. Should it pull straight, or does it 'snap' sideways? Cheers.
  2. Hi All, Link above no longer works. Anyone know of any other place to find a guide to replacing the key battery? It seems fairly obvious where to open the key up, but at the same time I don't want to force it.
  3. Me too. Pretty much since I bought it (new). Only occasional - in fact a lot less frequent now than it used to be. Just a bit irritating (though very rarely it will stall). 02 reg 1.4 16v too
  4. I had a problem a bit like this. Then realised I'd left a can of anti-freeze rolling around
  5. Thanks for help everyone (though you've started to lapse into technical speak which is confusing me... ) Probably should have mentioned I'm getting the cambelt changed at the same time - don't know if that makes a difference. I'm inclined to get the ARB done now - I've extended my credit limit so may as well use it!
  6. Having failed MOT I've just been quoted ~
  7. I've got this problem too, also on a 2000 1.4 100bhp. Started about 2 weeks ago when both EPC and Engine light came on while driving. Pulled over to check manual and when I restarted car they'd disappeared. Couple of days later Engine light started coming on intermittently before disappearing. Now EPC light has come on and shows no sign of going this time around. Tempted to wait till Service/MOT to get this sorted, as it sounds like a pretty common problem. Fingers crossed car won't die before then.
