Agree about your comment about the dealers, my dealer is constantly trying to find a solution but Skoda UK don’t want to know.

The experience seems to be very random!! I was told the issue was only with the Edition but seems it’s a question of luck !!

Looking at trying to get an SEL instead of the Edition but proving hard to replicate the spec I had for the price including the trade in value on my current car.

I should really be pleased for all you guys and girls taking delivery of your new Karoq and I am but still in battle with Skoda over cancelling my order 7 weeks in, gutted :-(

Unfortunately no Automatic 1.5 petrol Edition available on Car Wow, it looks like there are and then when you click on them it says car is gone. My partner can’t drive a manual.

Do you mind me asking are Skoda or your dealer offering any alternatives?

Am I the only one who has had their order cancelled by Skoda ?

Bad news, Skoda Customer Service just rang, my order has been cancelled 7 weeks after I placed it, something to do with the 1.5 TSI Edition DSG petrol no longer being available and I need to contact the dealer, fuming !!!!

Spoke to Skoda Customer Services today, they basically have no clue what is happening about my order and say they are trying to get an answer from the factory. I think I am being lied to.

Thanks for the info, unfortunately we are trying to get away from Diesel and was hoping to get the Edition spec.

No worries, I really hope they stick to your BW. I have given up hope based on what I am reading and thinking I might try source a second hand Kodiaq instead.

Really sorry to hear that, pretty crap service from Skoda, I fear they are going to cancel my order as well but haven’t the nerve to tell me yet.

JKW At one point I was told build week 32 and that was quoted as 6 August which would tie in with what Geoff W has said. When did you place your order ?

Ordered a Karoq 1.5 Edition DSG on 3rd May. Have had various dates given to me regarding a build week with two of them being confirmed dates one towards the end of September. When I said this was way longer than I was originally given to expect I received an email from Skoda UK saying they had made an error and they have no idea what the build week is and I should ask them again in 3 weeks time !!! Think I will have to cancel order
