Welcome! Most likely will never see you, unless you come to the Cotswolds for a holiday... Have fun in the world of Briskodaland  -
Can't agree enough with this! My wife bought me one with an "Aeroccino" automatic milk frother - the coffee is absolutely wonderful, and I am the world's biggest coffee snob

Sorry, .co.uk not .com http://www.fabia-vrs.co.uk/2008/02/seat-leon-cupra-r-front-splitter.html EDIT: Found it! In the guides section -
Any idea where I can get a guide to fit one - in pictures, that is? :S

Fitting Strut Brace & Leon Cupra R Splitter

Thanks I managed to get the info for this from fabia-vrs.com - pictures are always useful for me so I can follow visually too (I think there were pics on the old site). If anyone has got these, that would be great. -
Fitting Strut Brace & Leon Cupra R Splitter
NewbieVRS posted a topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Having just ordered my Ibiza strut brace and Leon Cupra R splitter, I've been searching the site for guides to fit. I know they were there before the site update, but can't find any sort of guide/pics. Can anyone help? Thanks! -
I had a Passat SEL 170, which was as comfy as a sofa :-) Unfortunately, it drove like a sofa too. Octy every time for me.

From the BBC news item: "Elaine Carmody, 24, a full-time mother of two young boys, described the ban as "ridiculous" and "pathetic"." Maybe it should have been "Elaine Carmody, 24, a full-time mother of two young boys, is described as "ridiculous" and "pathetic"." :p

Don't you mean pedantic?

Neighbour! Both my cars below have a Brisky sticker on the rear window so flash your lights! I'm in Bussage. Are you in proper Chalford or are you just in the posh part of Bussage? EDIT: I was born and raised in Cheltenham so consider myself to be in the posh part of wherever I live ;)

My FL vRS says TSI on the engine cover...unless it's just the cover which is a TSI

I LOVE my silver FL vRS! It has actually started to look better as time has progressed since I bought it. My last vRS was a race blue Octy and whilst it suited the old shape down to a tee, I think that it looks a bit childish on the FL - a view I've still got as I see more pics of race blue FLs. PS Not ready for a beige car until I'm at LEAST 70...

I'm 33 and on my third vRS!

How can I lock the doors from inside?

I'd feel unsafe in a black cab made out of paper... :p -
Anyone managed to insure a 2.0T FSI with MORE TH>N
NewbieVRS replied to mikel543's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
ME!!!! Paid through Quidco and got £75 cashback too. Try doing it over the Internet...if that's possible. Mine's a vRS TSI FL too. -
I have an Octy vRS (petrol) plus a Furby vRS - no problems whatsoever...and I live on the top of a steep hill! A N T I C I P A T I O N is the key, that and don't make any sudden braking moves - unlike the guy behind me earlier this evening who was sliding uncontrolled down the hill... Happy skiing all...
-
Thanks that's how mine is-I guess there's a bit of cost cutting going on!
-
To put it another way: Can someone who owns a FL vRS have a look at their badge to tell me how theirs is affixed? Sorry if my original question wasn't clear
-
I was wondering if it was supposed to have something substantial behind it, like a plastic bit behind the grill attached to the back of the badge. If yours looks like it's just attached by glue onto the front of the grill slats, then I'll be VERY careful cleaning it!
