Evening, I've had my Felicia since June and, on the whole, I quite like it except that I find the driver's seat extremely uncomfortable. Has anybody else found this? And are there any quick and easy upgrades? I plan to go on a 1k+ mile trip around Scotland next March but, as it is, I'm going to have to hire a car as I couldn't travel all that way with the current seat :-(

I have a '99 'V' reg 1.3MPi Pacific Estate. It has power steering, central locking (with alarm), a rev counter, jazzy blue upholstery with crowns on (!) and special 'pacific' badging on the tailgate. There are also two unused 'pacific' badges in the owner's handbook. -
Cheers Davy, it's a little scruffier in the metal, but it certainly wears its age and 83k miles very well.

Hello all, Nice to meet you all - I'm Rob from Southport, a small(ish) seaside town in Merseyside. I have just popped my Skoda cherry by buying a 1999 Felicia 1.3MPi Pacific Estate which I can only describe as amusingly basic! I was in dire need of a runaround and saw this at the right price so, in the spirit of 'nothing ventured, nothing gained' I bought it! I have ventured, and will let you know over the next few weeks whether or not I have gained!

Hello all, I'm new here so please be gentle with me! I've just bought a '99 Felicia 1.3MPi. On the 85 mile drive home, it was idling rather roughly and on one occasion was very hesitant pulling away from a set of traffic lights. Additionally, the temperature gauge barely moved off zero until I hit some traffic. It then rose quite rapidly, so I turned the blowers on to hot which kept the temp down nicely. As soon as I was on the move again, the needle dropped back down to barely above zero. I've checked the header tank and the oil filler for signs of head gasket failure, but both are a-ok. Any ideas please? Thanks in advance.
