  1. I'd appreciate it if a moderator could move this to the Superb forum. Sorry everyone. Could still use the help though 😆
  2. Sorry, i thought i was in the relevant section. Which should that be?
  3. Hi everyone, Firstly, just wanna say how great this forum is! Full of dedication from the community and loads of useful tips. Massive thank you! Secondly, I'd like to share my experience of owning a Superb Sportline mk3 as per title. It's been 3 months and it's my first "proper" car. My previous was a citigo but the demands of motorway commuting was too much for it so decided to upgrade massively. So far, i am very happy with my purchase. Despite it being 5 years old, there are very few signs of aging. It behaves very well on long drives, punchy engine, good torque, as expected. The sportline pack really comes in handy. Anyway, I'm preaching to the converted here. I do have a few queries, which may come from my lack of experience in driving a car with loads of kit on it" 1. Infotainment system / AA: i have an oppo find x2 pro. Despite my best attempts, i cannot make it work with the cable (no option for wireless). It keeps disconnecting for no reason. To confirm, the usb port is fine, I'm using the OEM cable and have reset everything a few times over. No sign of any updates needed to the infotainment system. 2. The transmission: sometimes the gear stick vibrates when in fourth gear and coasting. It also seems a bit rough when changing gears, especially in second and ocassionally won't go in first gear without shifting to second then back to first (being stationary of course) 3. Vibration: there is a slight vibration in the steering wheel at speeds over 75 mph. Nothing major but enough to feel it. From past experience this could be unbalanced wheels but could it be something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  4. HerrMinerr, 2018 Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI Sportline. Good to meet you all!
  5. Welcome, Vashtar! I completely understand your point about modern cars being slightly intimidating from the point of view of the technology in them and all the details to take into account. I used to own a Daewoo Matiz (first car) and then a Vauxhall Corsa. Believe me, not cutting edge technology in either of them. Stepping into my little Citigo meant i had to embrace modern motors, I guess. Don't worry, it's all a learning curve. Good choice on the car, by the way! I commute a 40 mile round trip and I know your pain. You have to have a car which makes it enjoyable to do so. Good luck! Andrei
  6. Thank you, Superb! I am just about discovering its potential and limits. So satisfied up until now!
  7. Hyphons, Thanks-a-lot-for-that! LOL! It seems that the gentleman is a real legend, cutting a hole in his brand new dash board. I, myself, am a bit luckier as the car already comes with the port, I just need to remove the cover. But that is still encouraging to know. Thanks a lot guys!
  8. Hi Jonny, It is a 2015 Citigo. From what I read on other threads, I am in the clear as it's 2013 and newer which can be retroactively fitted?
  9. hi guys, I was asking myself the same question. Can I retroactively fit a Garmin/Navigon to my Citigo, even though it didn't come with one originally? On the Skoda website it says that you need a professional to perform the installation. Has anyone tried to install this sat nav on their own? Thanks a lot.
  10. Thanks, guys! I can see I have a local user (well, from Gloucester!) - Hi JED But I can also see Skoda users from across the UK - how amazing! Hello to you too, V6TDI and Skoda Boy! Peace!
  11. Hello all you fine people! My name is Andrei and I recently purchased a 2015 Skoda Citigo, almost new. What can i say, beyond my excitement for the car itself (it's.only a 60 FS), I find it amazing that there is a vibrant community to go with it. Looking forward to talking to all of you. I know you're very passionate people with lots of knowledge on everything to do with this timeless brand. Catch you in the threads!
