where would you go for a remap and what would it really achieve?

I run 195/45R16 tyres on my 2011 fabia. they give a nice compromise of rolling speed, handling and ride comfort.

you can also unhook the air intake and spray a little diesel in while a friend cranks it over. once it fires it'll suck through diesel from the new filter and job done

particularly on motoerway runs, wheel size, tyre size, tyre inflation and a clean egr/fuel system can all make a big difference. Under pressure tyres can increase frictio AND reduce the wheel diameter/circumference. These can all add up to detriment of your MPG.

Very useful. can you recommend where you got those parts from please? seem to be lots on the market and i don't know which to go with.

A friend hooked me up with an EGR blanking/restricting plate and I installed it. Mine has a 5mm hole in the center rather than the 20mm+ open system which means that there's still some flow so the sensor won't trip out constantly. He also told me to turn around the EGR outlet by 180 degrees so it doesn't blow out into the throttle body. So far it does seem to have helped. The Fabia is running smooth and responsive, plus the MPG is up. Is it really worth getting it tuned at a garage too?

I contacted several local VAG specialists and they all told me that they won't offer a "ECU EGR delete service" as it places too much strain other engine/exhaust parts. can anyone recommend a tuner that will please? Hello all. my 2011, 60k miles, skoda fabia 1.2 tdi greenline estate has now had it's fifth new EGR valve fitted and I want to blank it out. I bought the car a few months ago at 55K miles and it drives beautifully, inspite of the turbo lag, so I was annoyed when the engine light came on. Fortunately the dealership warranty covered it but I don't want any more expensive reoccurances now my warranty is expired. I have found plates/kits online quite cheaply priced. Has anyone else done this? I have scoured YouTube for any Does anyone video guides but not found any for Diesel skoda fabia II. Does anyone have any recommendations/video guides please? Recently I changed up the radio head unit to a RNS 315 nav/bluetooth unit after watching a YouTube video a few times. I happliy take on jobs but I really prefer to know how first.
