  1. Thanks for all the replies. Can't seem to see on the Skoda website where it gives prices from individual dealers but maybe looking in wrong place?!
  2. Hi I have had aquote for the first service on a 2014 Yeti 4 x 4 on variable service plan of £197.00. The car has covered 15800 miles. This seems a little steep but I wonder if anyone has had a better offer recently? I need it to be serviced at franchise as bought car on PCP Many thanks
  3. Replying to my owm post. i should have read the forum first! It seems that I cannot adjust them and need to take it to a dealer? A bit of a pain but seems there is no alternative? Thanks
  4. Hello I have a Yeti Elegance with Xenon and I think it's called "light assist". Full beam is great but I find dipped beam far too short as you can't see far enough in front on the road. I can't seem to find anyway of adjusting the lights to make the beam go further forward. Is there a way to do this? Thanks very much.
  5. Hi May not be able to buy before the current deals end. From experience are there likely to be ones later in the year or is Match deal usually the best of the year as towards end of financial year? Thanks
  6. I know there's probably no right or wromg answer but I'm looking to buy an Octavia Estate (oer perhaps a Leon!) under the current offers with a small part ex of around £2k. Some people have said that the best time is now as they are chasing 1st March registration targets and others have said wait until end of March as end of financial year targets are in play. I expect it will just depend on how good the dealer is and how near they are to any target at any given time but I would be grateful for any wise words fropm others. Thanks very much.
  7. Thanks for the replies. Would love a vrs estate but sadly too expensive!
  8. Thanks. I expect I will be hard pushed to find a dealer that has Octavia estates both with and without for me to test. Seat Leon felt better to drive and must be because of more sophisticated suspension
  9. I wonder if anyone has the option sport suspension? I tested a standard Octavia and found the ride a bit soft fir me. Not as good as the Leon. Does the deport suspension help and is it the sane as the system used in the Vrs? I expect not. Thanks
  10. Thanks. So the 150 tdi Octavia doesn't have it. I did like the SEAT steering wheel and the higher position of the touch screen. I suppose it will come down to which dealer offers the best deal.
  11. Thanks very much I thought some Octavia's had more sophisticated suspension than the cheaper models I think I read that someone?
  12. Hello I have just test driven both cars and can't make up my mind. I know I have to do that myself but any thoughts would be welcome. I found the Leon more attractive and a better drive. Would Sport suspension on the Octavia help? Is it the same sport suspension as the Vrs? I preferred the interior of the Octavia and it was better equipped although it's so difficult to tell as one will have one item and the other will have another. I'm sure VW do that deliberately so no brand has all the advantages. The Skoda has 0% but the Leon had a £1000 deposit contribution and a free tech pack (but the Octavia had most of the tech pack as standard!) I have never used PCP but dealer said about 90% of customers do. It seems a "no brainer" to do it if you can't buy for cash but are there any big drawbacks? Thanks all
