  1. That’s correct, if you only link number 1 to your key as soon as you use your key it goes to the number 1 setting.
  2. I expected them both to move as well, so what I have done is set both mirrors to the position I wanted them in for reversing into my garage and then saved the setting on number 3 on electric seat settings. This worked fine for me as number 3 wasn’t used , so I could set the seat settings the same on number 3 as number 1 with just the different mirror settings. So when I want to reverse I just press 3 and my seat stays the same but both my mirrors go to the position I want. Hope this helps.
  3. We had a Witter detachable tow bar fitted at the dealership before we collected the car when new. Cost £425
  4. Hi I think you have made a very wise choice. We have the combi with DSG and it tow's like a dream. This is our first season with the superb, but for the past 4 years we had an Octavia which was a really good tow car as well. You should not have any problems weight wise as the Superb can tow max 1800kg. You need to clock 1500 kilometres before towing, but I'm sure that won't take long. At each site we have visited there is always someone that comes over to admire the car, so it's a great way to get talking to your neighbours on site. Good luck and hope you enjoy.
  5. No my electrics are visible which I don't really mind, it's the fact that so much of the bumper has unnecessarily been cut away and so close to the screw that fixes the bumper. I just don't know what to do about it. I'm waiting for the dealer to get back to me. Kath
  6. My new Superb Estate has arrived at last - it’s absolutely fantastic. I had a tow bar dealer fitted, but I would like to know if it is normal to have such a large amount cut out of the bumper. Has anyone else had a Witter detachable tow bar fitted and if so is it cut so close to the screw that holds the bumper, leaving such a gap between the electrics and edge of bumper? Hope this link works - I havn't used photobucket before. This is looking up at the bottom of the bumper from under the car. http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/i403/Kat7773/CarTowBar.jpg Thanks in advance for any replies Kath

  8. Thanks for your replies RedDog & cookdn. It looks as good as I remembered. I'm sure it will keep my husband happy keeping it clean.
  9. Hi Everyone - Ordered my new Superb Elegance Estate 3 weeks ago. Can't wait for delivery. I've ordered the 2.0TDI CR 140bhp DSG in black. Never had a black car before, told they are hard to keep clean, don't really care as that will be hubbies job, even if he doesn't know it yet. Does anyone have any Photo's of an Estate in Black?
  10. Pink - but it does say purple in the hand book
