Interesting The manual says contact the local dealer wrt the ECS warning. The dealer says contact Skoda Roadside Assistance, who are coming out to my home tomorrow AM. F

Thanks all. Much appreciated. I have a slightly double agenda - trying to get to grips with this fault, but also thinking about my soon-ending warranty period. I now have MySkoda setup, but Skoda Connect is sitting there like a useless thing failing to ... er .. connect. Yes it is enabled in the car. I may also try a third party app, as that would be useful. WIll keep on experimenting. Ferdinand

Can I ask which phone app I could be using with my Superb III Estate Diesel Estate with DSG on my Samsung S6 phone. The car is a little under 2 years old (Nov 2018), and has done a low mileage due to lockdown etc - now not even 7k. During lockdown I have only used one tank of fuel, and have been doing occasional longer runs up and down a couple of motorway junctions to try and keep the DPF OK. I have the 2 year service package which was on offer then, and 5 year extended dealer warranty. [Updated My immediate concern is that the dash Exhaust Control System warning has come on.] Previously I said DPF warning light, which I think was wrong. Will need to call dealer. However, I thought I would also take the opportunity to install the appropriate app so that I can look at things a touch more closely. Cheers Ferdinand
