Not sure about this. If you have updated the sat-nav from the Skoda site I presume that it will only have the sat-nav map coverage and not the individual destinations. Hopefully, other members may have experienced this problem and can give better answers

Thank you your reply. My Superb uses a Columbus sat-nav. I did receive an navigation SD card with the vehicle, but the information on that card is now out of date and I'm trying to establish what I need to update the sat-nav settings.
-
Thank you for the update. I cannot find anything on the Skoda sat-nav information telling me that I can't use a standard SD card. I don't suppose any member know of this person who can supply an SD card with updated maps? I will wait with eager anticipation!

I have the navigation card but that is only 12 GB. In the instruction from the Update Portal is suggests a much bigger SD card. I have used a 32 GB. Should I first insert the Skoda navigation card prior to the 26 GB card? Will that unlock the software? Thank you for your reply.
-
I have recently downloaded the 26 GB file for my sat-nav onto an SD card. However, when I tried to run/download the data into the sat-nav it failed to find the new software. I wondered whether any other members had experienced similar problems?

THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION. VERY HELPFUL AND KIND OF YOU TO REPLY SO QUICKLY!

I would like to know if there are any updates for my Superb. I recall I updated my previous Superb, but that was a long time ago. Any helpful suggestions will be very welcome.

I bought a DX 1000 dash-cam for my Sperb. After a period it stopped working, so it was replaced under guarantee. This new unit also failed and was replaced with a third unit. Needless to say this also gave up the ghost. The problem seemed to be that the heat-reflective screen was preventing the GPS signal from getting to the dah-cam. Aguri said that the returned units worked satisfactorily, but failed to look 'outside the box', to establish why the units didn't work with my particular car. This is a warning to others who might be thinking of buying such a dash-cam. Aguri have been very good in replacing the units, but not so good as to establishing why they didn't work with my Superb.
-
Good idea. The only problem is that both units gave good service for quite a few weeks before they developed their faults. Also, both units are back at Aguri, so I'm rather in their hands. I have suggested that they lend me a slightly better unit that may be an ex-demo, then I can see if there is any difference between the Dx 1000 and the DX 2000. I'm still waiting for Aguri to reply. Meanwhile, I'll go out and find a suitable brick!

Alas, no. I have had problems with two separate dash-cams. The first was powered via the cigarette lighter with my '17 plate Superb. The second is hard wire connected and is with my L&K Superb [only 4 months old]. Both units ran successfully for a period of time before developing faults. So, no external goodies to interfere with the signal. Thank you for your comments.

Interesting comment. The only problem is that the unit worked fine for some time but then started to develop the faults as described. Thank you for your reply.

I have experienced problems with an Aguri DX 1000 dash-cam. It often takes a mile or so to even start and sometimes the speed on the dash-cam fluctuates with my cars speedo. Aguri have examined both units that I have returned to them and not found any problems with either of them. Have any members, driving a Superb and using this model of dash-cam, experienced any problems?

Thank you for the information. It gives me something to discuss with my dealer.

Recently I read about the journey from the factory, via a train to some docks and thence by ship to an English port. Alas, I cannot find the article. If somebody knows the story could I ask them to repeat it and I'll make notes. Thank you

I'll try to remember my ear defenders!
