  1. Guys and girls. My Mag clutch/pulley on the vRS is very noisy indeed and I am looking to replace this over the Xmas period when I get some time to do this! Firstly I have the type with the bolt fixing rather than the nut (which falls off!) so can I ask do I need part 1J0820811H or part 1J0820811L? Also how do you go about getting the shimming correct and what dimensions am I looking to achieve? Cheers all and I look forward to the reponses.

  5. Hello ladies and gentlemen I am here to gauge interest in the Eibach/Skoda Lowering Spring kit for the Estate. These were specially developed by Eibach for sale through the Skoda Dealership network. I have attached a couple of pictures below so you can see how the car sits on these springs. If you would like some more information on these kits then please PM me, or simply add to the thread here if you are interested. Cheers

  10. Hello ladies and gentlemen. I just wanted to gauge your interest on the performance lowering springs from Eibach for the Estate. These are the kits which were available back in the day directly from Skoda. However I should point out that these will not be a VW part, or carry a VW Warranty and will be a completely unique, one off deal. Yes they are the same springs and they will have the Eibach Logo and an Eibach part number on each spring. They will be supplied in a white box and there will be 50 kits available. Price has not been sorted on these yet, as this is purely an exercise see if any of you would be interested. If you would like any further information then please do not hesitate to PM me. If it is relevant to the thread I will post extra bits of information here too. I will be posting up a picture of the actual springs next week for you all to see. In the meantime have a great weekend everyone, hopefully the weather will improve!!
  11. it will be washer fluid inside the wiper motor. 3 options 1 replace 2 clean out and grease up the gears (did this to mine...works for a while...) 3 get a 25mm rubber gromit from Halfords and whip out the whole thing (this is what I will be doing next!) I would suggest you do something soon as mine eventually set off the front wipe continuously until I unplugged the rear electrical connector.
  12. HI guys definitely not from the rear. She will be going in soon for a second opinion. I will let you all know what the outcome is.
  13. Hi Buster, I notice when braking up to junctions but even if I lift of the brakes the noise is still there...?
  14. Sorry late response on all these messages...bakes are Pagid and the CV joint being dry would explain it?!? It will be going into the car doctors soon enough fo someone to have a proper look at this. cheers again all!
  15. ladies and gents, in my attempt to discover why my glove box light was not coming on the switch has come apart...the problem now being how does it go back together??? Has anyone got a picture of one please so I can see which way around the spring and lever go please as I have so far had no success at all! Cheers
  16. Hi Raf, sounds familiar...I have had the wheel off and tried to clean up and inspect the discs and pads, wire brushed off the rusty protruding edge but it is still the same? Let me know how you get on with the wheel bearing, I will be taking mine in soon so they can have another look at it! Cheers all
  17. Hello, new pads and discs a year ago and plenty of meat on them yet. Cheers for the reply
  18. Hi guys tried to search for this not found anything definitive I'm afraid. I have a noise from the N/S when braking which sounds like a grinding sound but continues if I lift of the brakes. It goes away when I accelerate and is really pronounced just before the car comes to a halt?? I have been told it is not wheel bearing and that it is a noisy diff? I changed the gearbox oil (with VAG stuff fairly recently after having a slight leak from the n/s driveshaft seal. I am hoping it isn't the diff letting go! could it be CV joint? but the sound doesn't change if I am turning though? All help and info on this gratefully received. Cheers gents
  19. unfortunately no...they also do not list them for skoda? I'm sure that people on here have scorpion fitted to their vRS...
  20. Hello all... I am struggling to find the part number for the cat back exhaust system from Scorpion? I have been on their website but they don't list Skoda's at all? Can any one help.... Cheers again.
  21. You can adjust the camber using these SPC top mount alignment. Eibach sell them. According to the site they give +-1 deg of camber and +-1 deg of castor adjustment...
