OK I'll get it done there, and see if they mention the brake fluid change. I'll have a dig through the paper work I got and see if there is any indication of it getting done. I asked them about the spark plugs and they said it's included in the price. -

Sadly no mention of it with the paperwork I got with the car, I think the last bits it had done were oil and a tyre change. -

It's due a major service according to the Dealer, so spark plugs and everything needs doing according to them, even though it's only done 15k miles ('64 plate 1.2 tsi 105) -

So, it looks like i'm not getting my service paid for which is a shame. Just wondering if getting it done at a main dealership is worth it? I have no skoda warranty to uphold, I got extended warranty when I bought my car from Evans Halshaw. Should I avoid places like kwik fit? -

Looks like you're right here. its the RRG groups agreement rather than a skoda agreement, and the dealership is flat out refusing it's existence... -
Hi guys, Not sure if this is the right place to post this. I bought my Skoda back in July, and in the paperwork it had infor on pre paid servicing that had been bought and paid for in full. There is one service left on this agreement. I've then recenlty contacted the skoda dealer it was bought from (RRG Rochdale) and they are saying the service isn't transferable to a new owner? They've contacted Pendragon who apparently manage the service agreements and they came back saying that "it's the customers responsibility to pay for the service". So okay I get it may not be transferable to the new owner, but I've read on skoda's website that they are.. Also on the piece of paper I've got it has no mention of pendragon? I also have doubts because the lady there seemed to have no interest in the paper or service agreement number.. Anyone else had experience of this and know who i can contact? Thanks

Skoda fabia mk2 2012 coming home/leaving home feature
pookie666 replied to Rhys_1994's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
To get mine working I had to do the leaving home setting with the ignition OFF, which I took as no key in or anything: - Start with it pointing 0 then after a few seconds - move it to AUTO, leave it for one second -Move it to 0, leave for one second -back to AUTO for one second -then back to 0 for a few seconds, and that supposedly turns it on. Factory reset might help it too again with the power OFF: - Leave at AUTO for a few seconds - Move to 0 for one second - Back to AUTO for a few seconds. Another Issue I had might be worth checking is fuse 17 had blown when I first installed it, and killed the side lights, this seemed to stop me being able to set the leaving coming home lights. I installed a 7.5amp instead of the 5amp and all started working fine. Hope this helps! -
I've noticed the same on my 64 monte estate. not so noticable commuting, but long journeys on the motorway it's very noisy. I'm assuming its the low profile tyres, but not sure. From what I have seen, people have been adding extra insulation to doors and the boot to reduce the noise. Quite tempted to do the same..

I'm having this issue too. Did you guys manage to solve?

Ok thanks for the tip. I'll see if I can find a paint mixer nearby

So my red Monte has a chip on its bonnet and looks like it's gone down to the metal. Just wondering what repair kits people would recommend? It's only a tiny one but don't want any rust to start.
