Turn off Sound Check in the "Music" settings on your iPhone. I found that it 'equalises all tracks' so basically picks the worst sounding then matches it through your whole library. With Sound Check off, the original bitrate and frequencies stay intact :-)

Yeah look at the moment I’ve got two dead keys in a sandwich bag waiting for the next fortnight to go in for a service lol.. Spose we’ll see what they say.

No don’t store them anywhere special, they live in my backpack basically. The other two live in a drawer. Never have I had the “change key battery” message..

Hi all, less than 6 month old FL Octavia with KESSY and alarm system. Long story short I have 3 keys with my car (Australian Tech Pack). The first one started going intermittent, not unlocking door by touch, red light on remote working fine. Then stopped completely, doesn’t start car, even by that silly key on button method, doesn’t unlock doors from the handle however will lock and unlock by buttons on remote... dealer diagnosed as fault in the key. The second key working fine and then stopped completely dead, just tonight. No buttons working. Had to unlock the car physically, fight the ear blistering alarm off and try and start the car which took a bit to try and get it to detect the key?! New battery didn’t remedy the issue. Not diagnosed by dealer yet.. Using the last key now as the regular, never used it before, seems ok but little faith.... ideas as to what’s happening to my keys?!

A part of me wants to lower the suspension a little bit, make it a bit firmer, but another part of me needs to stop spending money.

In Aus, the FL Octavia has the 1.4tsi still with 150hp/110kw (we call it a 110tsi here) In my opinion the manual box box is the winner, it’s extremely economical, I yield 5.4lt/100km on the way to and from work. The dsg is also good, if anything I think it feels faster than the manual. engine is quiet when driving, when I idling the direct injection sounds.. clicky, however still very quiet.

So back to the op’s problem I’ve found out how to adjust the beam In module 4b adaptions you can click “basic setting” which is like the second option in the list to tell the car you’re about to adjust them. After you hold the green tick and it’s accepted, move the headlamps manually using an Allen key, clockwise is up. After you do this go back to the adaptions list and hit “accept basic setting”, then green tick it. That sets the new home position for the lights and it shouldn’t revert back.

I reckon that piece of bumper that resides in between the lights is bang on 1200mm

Good save lol However I’m gunna chuck a curve ball out there. I sold Skoda’s up until last month and the Karoq headlamp setup got me. So the fog lamps are directly under the main headlamps indicated by an independent switch to turn on and off AND they’re cornering lamps... Look how high up it is!

Yes we’re aware that fog lights are low mounted. We are talking about the led static lights inside the main beam housing.

Nope. Something to note, I don’t have an RS. My octy has a tech pack which includes led headlamps. My fogs are yellow halogens. My static cornering lights are inside my headlamp housing, I’ll take a photo for you.

My fogs don’t activate on cornering.

I've done a little video.. City mode is where both my static cornering lights come on when i'm going under 55km/h and the main beam is lowered, when i'm going back over the bridge toward the end you'll see my headlights dip down and the static cornering lights switch on together Country mode is where the main beam raises slightly and the static cornering lights are inactive Highway mode is where the main beam raises again ever so slightly over country mode over 120km/h (or 115km/h if you're my dashcam) Don't mind my a**hole attitude blasting that subaru that left his light bar on too long and killed my eyes... For some reason my cornering lights don't react to my steering position or my indicator.. they're just on... In country mode (I suppose that what you call speeds above 55km/h?) the visibility is actually really bad.. and I think the black spot is created by my right headlight being too low causing a staggered cutoff. ** Where it says "TITLE TEXT HERE" I was meant to write... Country mode reverting to City mode at the bridge

I’m gunna be a fly on the wall here, I’d love to know how to adjust mine too. Max speed in Aus is 110 which doesn’t quite meet the speed to enable highway mode on the lights which is 120km/h/70mph, I’d like to lower that threshold to make the most of the headlamps.

I’m going to revive this I have Kessy. My first key went dead (buttons works on key, but nothing proximity worked) within a month of use. I moved on to the second key, replaced battery in 1st, tested it, chucked it in a draw. Using the second key, I got 2 weeks out of it, replaced the battery and it’s okay now. I haven’t moved onto the third... Surely this can’t be right?

Just throwing out there my petrol 150hp gets 52mpg. However I dare say the pedal:fun ratio is alot lower.

I'm reading this thread thinking to myself... Wow, you guys have a 1.0 in the Octavia, our Fabia gets that engine and it's just enough for me. I have an Octavia 1.4tsi and sometimes would like a bit of extra pull, especially on the mountainous drives. Not even the Rapid is equipped with a 1.0 3 pot. Rapid here gets a 1.2 4 banger with 92kw.

Negative. This is a feature on them. Mines an 18 build facelift. You get an image on maxidot when it does it of your cars bonnet in between two lanes and a vehicle to the right of the lane line in front.
