  1. I have same problem with my 23 karoq 1.5 sport line auto. When passenger window down can hear scraping noise. Had it in twice to Dundee Skoda but they said no fault found. Took it to Perth Skoda and they acknowledged the noise and said it was gearbox. They had the car for two weeks then said tech dept told them car was ok. They didn’t examine the gearbox but merely replaced the oil . I complained to customer service and told them it was shocking to admit the car had a problem but that they had refused to fix it. Don’t know what to do now.
  2. Yes . I have it also in my 1.5 tsi sport line. Very feint high pitch whine about 1-2 kHz. Seems to come from video display. Variable duration of length and not always audible. Car is one month old.
  3. Forgot to add that the A3 failed it’s first mot on brake discs and then passed after I argued with service manager!
  4. What is it these days with brake discs? All dealers want to replace them after 5 minutes. My wife’s A3 had two disc replacement in first two years (first one at 6k. Second at under 20k). They failed it’s first mot under 30k until I argued ,then it miraculously passed with no parts fitted. It sounds criminal to me. I had my rear pads replaced first time today on my karoq at 43k at cost of £80 total in local TRUSTED garage. Was told front pads plenty life left and all discs fine . My next door neighbor had one year old Volvo x40 in for service and was charged £1000 for all pads n discs replaced ( not under warranty). This is simply corrupt.
  5. Five days after the third software reload and the kangaroo and erratic rev counter are back . Dealing with a bunch of chancers here. I’m sick of it.
