I am no expert but i got a surprise when mine blew (my fault) and found that it was a 30amp fuse. has other functions involved (connected)possibly or socket is covered for heavy loading Dont know if this will help you/

Thank you Gabbo I think that you are probably on the correct path. As for parking sensors if a drop of rain sits on mine they go off like I have hit something.dry them off and all is well. Well we will see what happens and give feedback for general knowledge for others as well.

Yes you are right ,its the long winded description of what is required to correct it is somewhat like overkill.I suspect that they have to get Skoda approval for the so called 3 to 5 days of work. The bummer is that I introduced my son into the wonders of Skoda with this car. Myself still having fantastic time with my 62 reg Skoda Octavia Scout 140bhp currently I have clocked 85k miles and going like a rocket .Solid in near;y six yrs only replaced light bulbs(preferred),service on time ,cam belt at 75k miles with pump. My opinion for what its worth Series 2 were better built before VW finance got their nose in.

The car is an Octavia 150,Hatch.Technology 2018 The predictive cruise control etc interferes with the parking sensors,and I have been given the story that the car has to put on a special jig ,wheels taken off and possibly the wiring loom replaced ,me thinks this sounds like a lot of old pony and trap. Has anyone also heard of this problem and is the treatment given genuine....????
