Thanks again Gonzini. Agree that it is expensive for what it is. I meant changing gear at slightly lower revs - my foot is always right down on the clutch to change gears. I’m going to take it to Skoda garage as it still under an extended warranty. If they find anything I’ll definitely post.

Thanks for input Gonzini. Seems to be same in mine as changing gear at lower biting point does help. Friend suggested slack in gearbox but thb I’m clueless about that. I’m trying not to worry so good to know I’m not alone with this problem. It is annoying though.

I have recently purchased a Skoda Fabia 2019. I hear an annoying clunk when I change gears. It happens mainly in 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. If I take my foot off the gears really slowly it’s fine but when I accelerate quickly I can hear it making a ‘clunk’. I tried resetting the gear box but it’s not much better. It’s still under warranty so I’m going to take it back but hoping someone might be able to shed some light on the problem. Thanks.
