Presume I’d need to take the infotainment unit first to be able to remove this??

Evening all, So, my dearest Wife has managed to spill Coca Cola all over the centre console. This has resulted in the middle knob being extremely difficult to rotate, as it's an incredibly sticky residue. Divorce is also on the cards. I probably know the answer to this (short one being no) but are these knobs easily removable? I've had a gander on YouTube but couldn't find anything. Thanks.
