  1. Well its that time of year again & this time I'v also upgraded from my little Furby to an Octavia, however Adrian Flux gave a very good quote that I have been unable to beat else where so have renewed with them again. Keep up the good work.
  2. Right I've got my CHL sorted, you just flash the main beam before getting out of the car & they work. The LHL don't appear to work unless you have auto light installed, which I don't so I have disbaled the option. vRSCarl - Did you find those notes on how to increase the number of flashes for the indicators?
  3. Ok, I'll set it up & test tomorrow. Cheers for your help.
  4. Right I think something is wrong then as I don't have auto lights and I left the switch in the on postion but nothing came on either way. Just to confirm that on is either side lights or head lights????
  5. Right I set both CHL & LHL to 30s, the max it will let me, left the headlights on when I left the car when I got to work. Locked the car but only the indicators flashed. Have I got it all set right and its just not working or am I missing something else?
  6. Cheers, its getting late now for sitting out in the car with the laptop, neighbors think I'm mad already :p but I'll have a play tomorrow.
  7. Cool I'll try those timings. Just need to find out now if you can increase the number of flashes on the quick use indicatiors, I know that I can turn it off via MFD but couldn't see anything in Vag-Com to increase it.
  8. Cheers thats cleared it up for me, I'll extend the time the lights stay on for and not switch them off when getting out.
  9. I have got this option enabled on my Octavia MKII FL vRS and it is now showing in the MFD setup options but I can't seem to find how to tell it what lights I want on. Any help great fully received.
  10. I've been able to sort this by running the scan when the doors arn't locked. :wonder: Not sure why that would render the module unreachable but it sorted it.
  11. After tweaking a few settings on Saturday everything appeared to be ok, all the changes where working and the post change scan looked ok, I've gone to change one of the settings tonight and am getting the following scan results on module 9 & 46. The strange thing is everything appears to be working correctly apart from talking to these two modules. Any help greatly appreciated. 12. Been for a run out this morning in the Peaks although given the conditions I just had to guess they where there! Octavia's in the mist! These where taken outside the Cat & Fiddle pub, a bit lower down the conditions where much better and had some fun getting to know my new car.
  13. Been out having a play this morning and I'm very impressed with how much better than the Furby it is, I mean I knew it was going to be better but this much?! I've also had a tweak with Vag-Com and I've been able to setup Cornering Fog Lights, CHL & LHL - I take these only work when its dark, it make sense but best to be sure. I want to change the number of indicator flashes but I can't seem to find where to set them, checked the obvious like instruments but can't see them in there. Also can the alarm beeps be changed so that they are louder, I know the MFD can turn them on & off but not the level of the beep. Pics to follow when its not so wet outside. Cheers
  14. Strange you should say that as I was there last night getting some MDF! Got it on the brain at the min.
  15. Well I picked her up this afternoon and I'm well impressed with it so far, does feel very different to my Furby vRS though. Already had a play with the MDF & putting some MP3 CD's in, just got to sort out my collection now! Before anyone asks pictuers will be posted at the weekend as its to dark here now to take good pictuers, now wheres my route map to plan a good drive.
