  1. I was looking at the same thing today. Be carefull when ordering front ones. On superskoda, for front ones, version for vehicles with plastic trim have cat.number 57A075111, but on skoda-auto eshop they have number 57A075111A. Skoda-parts site shows same number with A at the end for ones that go with plastic trim. I ordered from local dealer part with A at the end since I have plastic trim around the wheel arch. Will see if it fits
  2. Received my 1.5 manual a week ago. Traveled 450km. No kangarooing, I can start in first gear without any isues on as low as 1000rpm. My previous car was Ceed 1.4 petrol non-turbo. But what is obvious is that there is a slight drop in rpms when I'm trying to start moving, right at the point when I press accelerator and release clutch enough for car to start rolling, if I do not keep pressing accelerator futher car will drop rpms and turn off. And there is flat spot in 2nd gear, most noticable when you slow down and try to join roundabout, junction or overtake in slow traffic. My previous experience is that 1st gear is only to start rolling, shift to 2ng gear as soon as possible. But now it looks like that I should drive in 1st. I never did once in my life had vehicle that required to shift in 1st while moving to get enough power in low revs. I have a felling that 1.5 manual is not designed around pussyfooting in low gears and really likes more revs specially in 1st and 2nd gear.
  3. Understand now. Thanks for clarification John. Now waiting piggyback fuse to arrive so I can move that dashcam cable out of my sight . Cheers
  4. Are you sure? if you connect piggyback fuse side where wire comes out for dashcam on 12V side on fusebox, you will bypass fuse even if there is one in piggyback fuse adapter. Fuses are basically simple wire, which will burn if there is more current going on. There are no sides for fuses. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
  5. Thank you for the guide. I will receive piggyback fuse tap soon and will try to wire my dashcam using guides from this thread. Have one question. Did you check which side is + side (line side where 12V is) on fuse box? If you connect piggyback "wrong" way you will have 12V go dirrectly to dashcam, not via fuse.
  6. Is this affecting all 1.5 manual Karoqs? Anyone here that do not experience this issue? Ordered end of May, planned BW 39. That rear door/wheel arch thing (which was my fault I didn't noticed when looking at Karoq) and now this 1st gear issue is now really bugging me. I really like Karoq, it has everything I need, I got good discount and will trade in my old car. Not sure if this is deal breaker for me. I dont want DSG, and if this is really big issue, I can only cancel my order and revisit Mazda dealership.
