I worked for an insurance company a long time ago and claiming for a screen on your insurance won't effect your no claims but it does still go down as a claim. The company I worked for did take this in to consideration when it was time for renewal. If you stayed with them they got there money back. Think on people

Wow done right and autoglass in the same post. My excess is 100. And because everybody thinks that going through the insurance is the best and only way, you can get a second hand screen for next to nothing and at the end of the day they are just glued in.

No this is definitely a suspension issue. It's a loud knock when I go over a pothole and a rattle when driving on a good British road.

Merry Christmas all. I've got a knocking rattle on the n/s/r of my mk1 octavia vrs. I am planning on replacing the bushes but can't afford to do it all at once so I'd like to start with the annoying rattle. Does anything obvious spring to mind?

Set of 4 spiders in great condition. I think they've been powered coated but might have been painted. If they have been painted its a really good job. £200 or £230 with the spare. The spare is silver

Anyone interested in a set of coilovers? They were on the car when I got it and they do look the business but it is a little to hard for me (definitely getting to old) I'm after shocks and spring set up preferably with lowered springs. The coilovers are pro sport. Now the only problem is they're still on the car and the ones I'm after are still probably on your car so it's going to have to be a meet up spanner day. I'm in West Yorkshire anybody interested?
