I can see what looks to be the zig-zag lines in my windscreen, but I don't have the heated windscreen option. Could this be a case of they included the wires with every windscreen, or its possibly been replaced before my ownership with an incorrect spec'd one?

Got a 230 and I average about 34-35mpg for a 10 mile trip through B-Roads and a short stretch of a Dual Carriageway. I take it fairly easy and don't often give it the beans either.

Hi guys, I was reading another topic on here regarding the DMF ( ) and noticed it mentioned that a point for early failure is driving around at very low RPM. Does anyone know how low that means? I used to have a 1.6 Corsa SRI which would happily sit in 6th at 30mph at just shy of 1.5k rpm, but in my VRS I have to sit in 4th at 30mph to be sitting at 1.5k rpm. Would you guys class that as 'too low' revs for the gear which might over time affect the DMF?

Cheers guys, that’s put my mind at rest! On another note, has anyone been able to find the “Sports display” where the Turbo Pressure gauge is displayed? I read a few threads that people in Australia have it but nothing about the UK? Although it’s in the owners manual.

Good Afternoon, I've recently got myself a MK3 Octavia VRS and upon cold startup there is a strange noise (video attached - noise @ 6 seconds) which I have not had in any other cars I have owned and was wondering if you guys could tell me if this is normal?
