No mines now in for 4th time for software update and Airbag controller part delivery. Shocked how buggy this release has been .. Had 67 plate superb since new and never missed a beat .

Not sure if I have option to delay service ,if cars been set to be inspected and I let it go past that does that not invalidate my lease agreement ? All very messy and as I've said had mixed messages of various people in the dealership.

Help needed please regarding this post. After numerous phone calls with dealer I've been told the car cannot be set for first service at 10k or a year as its already been set so new settings would start off at mileage when it goes for service at. Now the plot thickens I spoke to service dept and was quoted 199 for first service from first bloke, which im not unhappy with as its only service im going to have to pay for. However had call today after being told car would be complete in 2/3 hours its now full day due to software updates which take 4hrs plus, he also dropped me the price of £279 which I challenged and asked why ? Was told because car is being set to long life servicing that's price. I asked what it included as this price seems to be for major service (on car that's only 6k old 10 months) he said, oil screen wash and sump plug, as you can understand I refused to agree to pay for this at the price of £279. Did verbally agree all this with salesman when I took lease out on car, feel proper hoodwinked with all this and have no confidence in future servicing . Did however get call back after the service sales man got gist of my anger and agreed to only charge me £199. Are all servicing departments so greedy and un customer friendly. Safe to say I will be getting any future agreements down on paper . Is the £199 also a reasonable price and is their any way I could get car changed service wise in non Skoda garage and maybe even get service done cheaper?

To be honest I did ask about service options and wasn't really given any solid advice was told to wait for car to advise and it was dependant on my driving style? Didn't get phone call today of them so will pop in this week and se them personally. Advice much appreciated

Cheers for replies lads, got call coming from dealership at 2pm. The lease deal is for 2 years and I'm limited to 8k miles per year which I will not go over so 16k total , lease ends Oct 2023 so could I get away with one interim service for the duration of the lease as im not going to have the car over 24months and im not going to exceed the 20k major service requirment? Want to set up service plan and not get bothered again , will I also need to get the dealership to get rid of the inspection request on the car or just ignore it? Cheers Paul

Morning, After some advice I'm currently in 1.5 first Ed SEL 70 plate and its asking me for inspection in 400 miles .Cars on two year lease and wondering what's my best best option for service. Dealership were I got car from is £199 inc vat ,which I thin is pretty steep for car that hasn't done 6k yet. Have looked at other options for interim service costs Halfords kiwi fit and other online providers for £125 and less .Why is Skoda so much more for interim service and am I better opting for non Skoda dealership option as they do update electronic service records. Any advice much appreciated

Me neither Another dilema has arose also . Due to work i do i have works Sat Nav with pre loaded POIs that get me to locations quick ,now due to no 12v socket in front of car cannot power sat nav (maybe due to usb being 5v and sat nav 12 v im thinkling),di notice another usb type port next to mirror is this for sat nav or dash cam ? Any idea how im going to power sat nav now? Thanks for previous responses. Need to get USB C to normal USB 5v to 12v . Sat Nav has USB going into 12v old plug so i can go usb c to usb but need to step up volatge from cars 5v to sat navs 12 v . Proper pain this as presumed car would have 12v in front. Also going to mess up all my laptop connections as well. As they say fail to prepare and all that . :(

Afternoon all, Had my SE L 1.5tsi first Ed for week now and finally getting round to reading up on it and exploring car properly. Have had previous elegance octavia and also own Superb SE L 67 plate 2.0 Tdi. All have SD slots for both Nav and Music . New one hasn't. Have noticed USB c slots dotted about .Whats my best way to hook some music up. Not really for me as im happy with amazon unltd which as use via bluetooth in car ,for missus and child. Really enjoying car up to now but does have some little niggles like maybe too much reliance on touch screen even for climate controls. Also has strange habit of activating lane assist all time even when i've set to off? any advice much appreciated
