  1. Thanks again, especially for the few suggestions. I'm off down the tire place today so will hopefully have a good choice to select from.
  2. Thanks for all the advice. I plan on going as far as tromso. Then back down through Sweden too see some of the country side out there also. Not sure if anybody can recommend tires. I have a few in mind which I can post at a later date. Many thanks
  3. Hey. I see lots of people asking about winter tires for the winter, but was wondering what owners in Nordic countries may use? I'm I've been tempted by a few but wanted to see if anybody on here had any suggestions. And I know the kamiq might not be suited, but I managed it in -20 weather and blizzard in a Skoda Fabia before. So I know what I'm getting myself into. Any help would be great. Many thanks.
  4. Yeah mine has manual adjusting headlight and definitely no head light washer. Just wait for my branch to get back to me see what they can do. Will keep you posted
  5. I really appreciate your help with that @roottoot that very handy. I will contact the dealer as soon as they open again. I've only had the car for just under two months now. I will do a couple of test tomorrow and update this post. Then call my dealer when they open again. Either way I need to get the window sorted. It sounds like it's scraping when it goes down and comes back up again. Funny how you only notice these thing after a little while of ownership. Wednesday was the first time I put the window down as I was cleaning the car. Either way I shall keep you all upto date. Many thanks
  6. No I don't @J.R. I have full led light but no washer on them.
  7. Just checked and I put just over half a litre in today and that filled it up. But the last couple if weeks I've been putting in about 1.5l. so I guess it could be the sensor but that contradictory if last week I put in 1.5l same with the first week of December. That was pretty much the full bottle maybe 1.2 liters. @NeilRW thanks for the advice. Will give it a go tomorrow. Fingers crossed it dry tomorrow.
  8. I fill it to the brim. I probably do a screen wash each way of my journey. I work nights so do 4 12 hours shifts. So that's a maximum of 15 less than 5 second squirts per week. Which really is nothing right. And I'm still under a complete warranty with my branch. Thats kinda why I wanted some of briskoda opinions first. If not I can take it to an independent. I'm still within my rights to dump the car on the forecourt and leave it there if I have any issues. I'm already going to contact my local Skoda when they open up again. My 4 night's off for Christmas (which is when they open again) is testing time so I know for sure if i have an issue. The windows squeak is more than enough to take it back to them. Thanks your input I really appreciate it. But I'm guessing you are going to say the fluid is going down to quickly. Tomorrow I will wrap the reservoir in paper towel and see what happens as I've only had time to fill it up today. It may well just be a sensors giving a false readimg which is why I really want to see washer fluid tank for myself.
  9. Hiya all I need a bit of advice before i take my brand new kamiq back to the dealers again. It's my washer fluid. I do about 200 miles a week and I'm having to fill up pretty much every week at the minute. I'm in Norfolk so we have had a lot of rain the last month or so and I haven't noticed any puddles on floor due to rain. My last rapid which did the same route would need filling at the service only, in fact I think I filled it up myself once in the three years i owned it. I was wondering a couple of thing. Other kamiq owners how oftern do you have to refill the screen washer fluid? Does the kamiq have a washer fluid tank that hold next to nothing? And I'm guess the reservoir is behind the left side wheel behind the black plastic? I'm tempted to pull that off and have a look before I take it to dealer again. On another note. The back left side windows makes horrid squeak when it's going up or down. Anybody have this issue? The cars brand new 7k on the clock so I'm a bit concerned as you would imagine. Wanted a few opinion before I contact the dealer again. And for you who are interested the visit back was because there was a cigarette burn on the floor. I love my local branch so I'm not naming them but a fag burn on a brand new car was very annoying. They gave me the enyaq for two days while they repaired it so I was actually ok with. I did notice one of the engineer's smoking as I left so clearly they need a bit a telling off Anyway sorry ramble. What do you Skoda brothers and sisters think? Cheers
  10. So as we guessed this is not possible on the kamiq. Never mind.
  11. Will have an answer for you mate. Would be really handy if any kamiq or Scala owners could post if they have them.
  12. Okay I will have look tomorrow. I was going to check the doors aswell.
  13. Does anybody know if you can fit puddle lights the kamiq. Can see a whole on the wing mirror but wasn't sure if they went in the bottom of the door or night. Anyway insite would be awesome. Thanks
  14. Does anybody know if this would be a simple retrofit? Any help would be great. I have the kamiq se if it helps. Thanks.
  15. thats a shame. never mind. thanks to both you for the help.
