  1. Hi all, recently bought an 08 Octy VRS 2.0TDI (6 speed) and I’ve noticed that going downhill or driving at speed (45/50 or faster), there is a fair bit of juddering from the engine that I can feel through the steering wheel (if I let go, the wheel shakes a bit) and can slightly hear it too. It is not noticeable at all when driving through town at 30 or less. My first thought was DMF but I would have thought that was a constant juddering. I’m at a complete loss here as it’s my first VRS. Any help here would be hot!
  2. Cheers Skomaz, Unfortunately that hasn’t seemed to solve it! Guess I’ll have to spend some money on it! 🤦‍♂️😂
  3. Hi all, So yesterday I started my car and turned the fan speed up to max to clear the windscreen but I only heard a mechanical whirring noise, not unlike a CD player trying to read a disc. The fan speed went up but no air blows at all on any setting on any heat! I left it again til today and the same thing is happening! No heat or cold air blows from the vents no matter the fan speed! I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem or know what it might be? I’ve had heaters blow only cold air for me before but nothing like this! Thanks
  4. Hi everyone, I’m looking at a Skoda Fabia 2008 1.6 petrol engine at 120,000 miles, I’ve had diesel Skodas for a while now but never a petrol one... is £1200 for a good nick 08 1.6 fabia? I’m not sure how long a petrol engine is supposed to last on these bad boys... I need the car for work but don’t want to commit without knowing a little bit about petrol engines first. Any help is much appreciated.
