shyVRS245... on my MOT the right anti roll bar linkage came up as an advisory (slight play), could that be the cause of the wobble?
-
That's something I've not had checked.... got MOT on friday, I'll see if anything comes out of that

All round tracking done and spot-on ... what is RARB?
-
Tracking and balancing have been done, the back plate has been sorted, but what is the name of the place in stapleford please
-
Tilt... I use a local one in hucknall ... have done for years but there is a couple more in this area that I could try, thanks for the recommendations though

I have got slight cracking in my upper bushes

My mechanic has put it down to my high speed dampers in my shocks, but they are less than a year old , and it's a constant wobble, it's not as if it's an over-reaction in the shock, the wheel place hasn't suggested it's anything to do with the wheels / tyres

Hi I've got a wobble on the back end, just had to take my car into garage because I had a rattle that I couldn't find, he said it was the back plate on my brake, he also asked if I'd hit something to make that come loose, I'm guessing it could have been a bad man hole, going back to the top of this feed, if I have hit something, a) could that have also bent my stub axle and, b) could the bent stub axle cause a wobble....before I get all the standard answers, I've got brand new wheels on that have been balanced and tracked, this wobble was happening before the new wheels

Hi Sorry I forgot that bit, I've tried pushing down and rocking but all seems to be doing as it should with no knocks or squeaks -

Hi tilt Thanks for the info, had a full set of Avon zv7 about 2 months ago and the wheels are AVA Phoenix, they are 2 weeks old, had a 4 wheel laser alignment done with the new tyres, but this has been going on since before the tyres and wheels that's why I'm happy to rule them out, the shocks themselves are Munro and only 12 months old, that's why I was asking for any more inspiration, I think I will get the bushes checked out seeing as my mechanic did say there was wear on them, I'm Hucknall side of Nottingham so wilford is a little far out for me but thanks for that recommendation anyway -

So you are saying that simply replacing the bushes isn't going to solve the wobble? Or there is something more causing the wear?, Sorry for trying to clarify, I'm not a mechanic -

Hi micmac My mechanic did a wheel alignment check and said that was spot-on, but also said at the time that the bushes were wearing, but not enough to fail an m.o.t in his opinion, so do you think that could be the problem? -
Hi I've started to get a wobble sensation to the rear of the car, almost feels like a buckled wheel but they are only 2 weeks old, and this was happening before the new wheels, you can feel it slightly around town but it really comes to life on the motorway, I've taken it to my local garage and the mechanic had a run on the motorway with me, he's says ite the high speed dampers not doing their job, and the only way I would cure it was to fit adjustable shocks, but I'm not convinced as it happens all of the time on every type of road surface, (good or bad), I'm no mechanic, but is it possible I've bent or buckled a stub axle, any serious suggestions would really be appreciated, thanks in advance

Thanks for that link, I've just done a scan but it has come up "No faults", Might have to nip it to my garage, get a proper reader on it, Will Carista point you to the specific bulb, I have been hanging my nose over 1 for a while, this might be the push I need

Pikpilot, Thanks for that answer, I haven't got any of that software, I've only got a basic OBD2 Reader, I'm Guessing that wouldn't specify which bulb, just that there was a bulb fault?
