  1. Just for the info. I replace my 5N0035730B with 3C8-035-730-B and is really plug and play. 3 minutes for 3 bolts and direct Bluetooth connection to my phone. My car is oktavia 2010 and i have a white display at instruments and Colombus radio. All contacts downloaded to the radio ( if the language is not supported by the firmware the name remain blank or with strange characters) exist also caller list, unanswered calls, speed dial, music streaming. i don't have rsap supported phone to test messages.

  4. If I understand something wrong please correct me. let's keep correct information in the post.
  5. I chouse module with no wi-fi because is not useful for me. the 3C8-035-730-B is cheaper. I have a better chance to swap it without coding. Don't need to pul the extra antenna to the window. the wi-fi requires r-sap support phone which i don't have. my radio doesn't support any data usage (as internet radio stations or google drive). my phone is always connected, so i don't need to create the hotspot for that. if in extream case i need to create a hotspot for others i can do it directly from my phone.
  6. HI Probably you mean 5NO 035 730 B. I have the same. I order a 3C8-035-730-B. normally all the 3c8....... units should work. according to the forum may be plug and play. Or in some configurations require coding. I will inform you after the unit installation.
  7. Thanks for the info. I order a 3C8-035-730-B. I report back in a few days for results. By the way, my unit is the Novero 5N0035730B
  8. As we see at the beginning of this topic there is a successful replacement with 3C8-035-730-A with no need for coding. my question is can i use also the 3C8-035-730-B, 3C8-035-730-C, 3C8-035-730-D, 3C8-035-730-E ? I don't really understand the difference between these units except the wifi at "D" and "E"
  9. Not really, except: · Faster boot with more responsive to touch. · Ability to have the map version by holding the “set up” for 30 seconds. · Ability to search the map by postcode. (Not sure if I have this before). The rest set up continue to work fine. (Parking sensors, voice commands, steering wheel buttons) I continue to have a problem with Bluetooth because my phone doesn’t support RSAP so I’m going to change the Bluetooth module soon.
  10. All good no harm is done. I download the firmware FW_5238_ORIG from hear and I burn it in CD-R. I download the maps V15 from hear i use the torrent in post 22. I burn in DVD+R DL at 4x speed. No other file or sd card needed. *HD data will be lost keep back up of your music. procedure · With the key out of ignition start the Colombus and insert the firmware cd-r. · You have to confirm the firmware installation. · when installation starts (bars run from 0% to 100%) you don't need to be present any more you can come back after 45 minutes. · The installation will restart the unit a few times and will hard restart at getaway installation. · when the installation finishes the cd-r, will be ejected. At this point, the firmware is installed but no maps exist. · if you press the navigation button the system will ask for maps DVD. · Insert the map DVD+R DL with the V15 maps. the installation can be monitoring by one bar at the bottom of the screen. · The installation duration keeps about 45-50 minutes. When finish the system ask to remove the DVD. · After this, you can go to SETUP button and keep it pressed for 30 seconds. 13. hi to all. i'm new owner of 2010 oktavia and i'm new to this forum. Please shear with me your knowledge before i make an serious mistake. in my unit the hidden menu is real hidden so i have only the radio selections and no other info. (no access to VCDS yet) i pull out the unit and the sticker has the code : 3T0 035 680 A HW:H05 SW:2684 My maps has a POI and the radio has a RDS so i suspect the firmware has be changed. is this correct? the highest firmware for my unit is the 4020/4024 is this correct? what is the newest map version for the 4020 or any other suitable firmware for my unit? after update is it possible to loose some functions as fron and back parking sensor or anything else? thanks in advance fro any help.
